  “Been here probably half a dozen timesover the last couple of years, mainy when the car is in for service or a recall. I cannot think of a nicer place to sit, relax, nice food, gentle music, and two charming owners to top it off. Now my main mode of transport is two wheels, and being retired I have a fair bit of time visting cafes here, there and everywhere. But this one holds a special place, where I can be on my own and think my own thoughts.”

  “I needed some coffee and to kill some time and this is the perfect place for both. Really friendly staff and the coffee and cake hit the spot. Listening to another customer, I am now going to have to return to try the lasagne!”

  “The best cafe in the world - I've always wanted a local and never had one until now. Delicious coffee, wonderful food and great atmosphere. My daughter is a top fan too which always helps! Would highly recommend multiple visits to this wonderful little place ☺️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (6 stars at least in my eyes!)”

  “Lovely little cafe with a delicious menu! We all had breakfast barms and they were fresh and hot with perfectly cooked egg! Staff were very efficient, smily and friendly. Thank you for a nice breakfast!”

  “I visit the Silver Birch Cafe regularly. They have the best bacon butties (mountains of bacon). Their toasties are also delicious. All the food is made and served with love. Service is friendly and personal. I wish them every success for 2026.”
