  “Took a friend who hadn’t been before, She is independent & wanted to order. She was asked to wait while they made coffee, then they were put on a tray for her to carry. This would have been ok, but my friend has had a stoke & can’t use her right arm. When I gave her our table number, I thought they would bring coffees to us. She didn’t have much coffee left in cups, mostly in saucers, a little awareness would have been good from staff, her hands shake as does her arm when she tries to use them.”

  “Lovely place for brunch or lunch. Portions are generous, good place to sit and watch world go by (literally and be in lots of tourist photo!!) Usually quite a wait between ordering and food arriving so cobsider if you are in a hurry. Have returned a few times and will again. Few independent cafes left in Cardiff, this is a good one!”

  “We spotted this place while walking through Castle arcade. A very quaint spot with Bohemian decoration. We walked in to order and the initial person we talked to was quite abrupt. Thankfully, the staff who took our order were friendly and the service was efficient. The hot chocolate we ordered was delicious. Highly recommended.”

  “Nestled away in the heart of Castle arcade, this cafe is full of character. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a perfect place to lounge around with its comfy leather sofas, soft lighting and plant and candle accents throughout. The cappuccino had a thick, cloudy milk foam with a strong, slightly bitter coffee base. The micro-foam isn't as integrated as in other coffees I've had, but it's still a decent cup. Overall, good for relaxed coffee in a comfortable setting.”

  “Highly recommend! I am gluten free and vegetarian and I had a lovely breakfast, cake and lunch here. They have gluten free bread but their vegetarian sausages are not gluten free. There was only one gluten free cake option but it was great. They have a great selection of drinks. People who work here are nice and the seating situation is comfortable. There is WiFi here which is useful as no signal.”

  “This is a very charming place for breakfast, with a lovely atmosphere that makes it a pleasant spot to start the day. The food was good and fresh, and everything tasted nicely prepared. However, the service wasn’t great. We had to wait 35 minutes just to receive our toast, which was quite disappointing. With better organization and faster service, this place could be truly excellent.”
