  “I have eaten here on multiple occasions, either in or for take away. I would highly recommend this restaurant. There's not a large menu but there is enough to chose from. It's consistently good. It can get extremely busy, so I do prefer take away. They offer flavoursome, generous portions. We usually share a curry dish and a noodle dish. My favourites are green, red or penang curry and pad thai.”

  “We are regulars at Baan Thai but decided to try here as we always see it recommended. Unfortunately we won't be back. We were greeted by someone picking their teeth with a toothpick. I thought it was a customer until they went behind the bar. Very unhygienic! We asked for a high chair and were told where to find them. Considering we were the only customers this felt very lazy to not bring it over to us. My pad see eww was fine but the prawns were incredibly dry and rubbery. I can only assume they were old or very overcooked. My partner had the kra pow which he said was nice but had no spice. Portion sizes were good.”

  “Wow wow wow. Fantastic and amazing food with a great experience. Gets very busy so u must book in advance but midweek and Sunday evenings is cosy and still busy. The food was superb with very generous portion which were very pleasing. Lovely spice and customer service. I would be coming back and highly recommend to others to visit. Great drinks and mixture of dishes.”

  “I was sceptical just because of the location but my husband insisted we try it before going grocery shopping so we wouldn’t buy things we didn’t need. I checked the reviews and reluctantly agreed. This place is really quite good. It is a cute and cozy pub, perfect for the winter. The food was super quick and delicious. I got the vegetable panang curry and it was everything I had hoped for. My husband got the chicken green curry and he loved it. The stir flies at the table next to us also looked good. I highly recommend trying this place. I would even go as far as to say this is the best panang curry I have had in the UK. We will be going back.”

  “Great pub, nice selection of beers, Thai foods are great too, really simple main menus, definitely not the most delicious Thai foods in Cambridge but for the price, the portion and flavours are really satisfying, no service charge either, generally quite busy in the evening so might want to book a table”

  “Thai Pub Reviewing the Cambridge pubs therefore entered this pub. It's a pub with very limited starters. Not even satay skewers and fish cakes? The rice noodles, both the stir fry and soup, were broken mostly. So I need to use a spoon or fork rather than chopsticks to eat. The beef were just basic, the beef in the curry and soup noodle were identical in shape and texture. The portions of the dishes were generally small. It reflects from the prices I guess. The environment and toilets were clean. The staff were nice and helpful. As a restaurant with a Thai menu, the food was not as good as Giggling Squid or Luk Thai. But as a pub, it's impressive to see it doing something different rather than just pub classics. Or customers might forget and wouldn't return.”

  “I’ve wanted to visit this place for some time, but it’s a bit out of the way. However today it was really close to my hotel so I made a concerted effort to get there. I was not disappointed. The pint of Tribute I had was excellent. I’ve drunk it many times before, but never tasting this good. My Thai chicken jungle curry was excellent and served quickly. A good sized portion for the price. Other customers were sat chatting and grazing on prawn crackers. Highly recommended.”

  “Nice surprise to find good Thai food in a pub. Staff were great, prices reasonable and food delicious. They are happy to make the food to your spice level. I like spicy and it definitely came with some punch. It feels more like a restaurant than a pub as most people were eating and it seems to be local people mainly dining there. Definitely worth a stop for a bite.”
