Customer Review Summary
Sunday roast draws the most praise, with reviewers describing beef and turkey served with crispy yorkshires, tasty gravy, plenty of vegetables and a little stuffing ball. Close behind is the staff, called friendly, bubbly and ready to join in the banter. Reviewers say they kept smiling and serving through a packed Pirates weekend, and one family with two young children felt welcomed. Other dishes named include a big portion of traditional fish and chips, a veggie burger, lamb kofti, and beef balti and chicken tikka curry from a homemade special with huge meals. Reviewers also like the harbourside views over the working fishing port, the outside space and the beer and drinks selection. The main caveat is the crowding. One reviewer found the seating uncomfortable for a slow dinner and describes a half self service setup, with ordering online or at the bar and cutlery collected from a pickup spot. One group of four with two dogs returned for a second night after another place fell short.

“Not too crowded. On the harbourside with views across the water. Easy table ordering online with QR code. Fast service. Exceptional food. Reasonable prices. Ordered veggie burger and lamb kofti. Both meals excellent. Definitely will teturn.”

“Really recommend this pub! Friendly staff, great food, nice beer - and a lovely view. We have 2 young children and we felt really welcomed into the Prince William by all of the staff, a special thanks goes to the lovely Spanish lady (sorry, we never caught your name!) who was just an absolute joy. We'd recommend it to any families or people looking for a beer and a bite to eat with a view over Brixham harbour. Cannot recommend highly enough.”

“Food excellent as always but what makes visits to this establishment is the staff. Sara in particularly is happy, bubbly and always ready to join in any banter. A good salesperson as well, encouraging some of the party to try new things from the menu , which were yummy. This raises a good visit to a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Well done the Prince William staff. We are local and will keep returning.”

“Always come here when we visit Brixham, food always fab and super friendly staff, today we went inside as it was raining, they had a special of homemade curry and a drink for £15! The meals were huge! Hubby had beef balti I had a chicken tikka curry. Absolutely delicious couldn't fault it would highly recommend for anyone to try this place whether it be for just drinks or for food.”

“Great Sunday lunch. Loads of different veggies, all cooked to perfection. Crispy yorkshires and tasty gravy. I opted for turkey, which was succulent and served with a PIB and a little stuffing ball. Definitely recommend trying it. Great service too.”
