“Had lunch here with my girlfriends first day of our 5 day holiday and whilst the service was good, really lovely and friendly front of house staff and my pics of the food look good, unfortunately that is where it ends... I had the mussels …”

“You come to this place to enjoy the view that comes with the food. Definitely pleasant views here especially on a sunny day like today. Naturally fish and chips comes to mind whenever we’re by the seaside. The chips was outstanding, the tartare sauce was good and also the mushy peas and thats about it. The fish did look fabulous but unfortunately didnt taste of anything. Not even a hint of fishyness. It did smell of fish but no taste whatsoever. We have to add so much salt and vinegar just for it to taste of something. We also smothered it with tartare sauce to somehow make it palatable but no. Its an expensive £19 per plate of pretty but sad tasting miserable forgettable dish. Disappointing is the word. On the menu it says Brixham battered fish of the day but it wasnt good, not even close to ok. The views and the service was good thats about it. All in all not impressed and not going back and recommended.”

“We found this little gem on our morning walk today (Brixham Pirate Festival 2026). We only popped in for a quick bite to eat and we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing and definitely the best breakfast food we have had so far within Torbay. I stepped out of my comfort zone from ordering the usual traditional breakfast and went for the smashed avocado on toast and it was the bomb!!! The views from the table was beautiful and complimented our food. We will definitely go back with friends and family to try out the main menu. Thank you to all the staff that were so friendly and helpful.”

“Warm welcoming atmosphere. All staff were fantastic! We went for breakfast and it was delicious. The viewing from our table was incredible. We were only in Brixham for a week's and we are so glad we didn't miss out on this experience.”
