Quick info
About The Crepe & Coffee Cabin
On Prince St in Bristol, The Crepe & Coffee Cabin is a coffee shop where crêpes are made fresh in front of customers rather than prepared ahead. The menu covers savoury and sweet options, including a mushroom and cheddar or avocado crêpe, a feta and olive version, and banana and Nutella for those wanting something sweet, alongside Bristol-roasted coffee. The shop itself is small, and service runs on a walk-in basis with no bookings taken. A few outdoor tables look over the harbour and canal, giving those who want to eat outside a place to sit, and dogs are welcome at these tables. The step-free entrance suits visitors with mobility needs. Card payments carry a £5 minimum spend, worth knowing before ordering. It opens daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the freshly made crepes, with the avocado, mushroom and cheddar version named repeatedly and the feta and olive and the veggie with Cheddar, feta, olives and tomato also singled out. Close behind is the sweet side, where the banana and Nutella and the choc and banana crepes get praise, along with the generous portions made in front of diners. Several also like the coffee, and one mentions the Rooibos tea. The harbour and canal views, outdoor tables and friendly service come up often, and one family describes the bridge swinging open while they sat. The caveat is inconsistency. One reviewer who loved a first visit later received a burnt, boiling hot coffee and a crepe so wet with slimy cheese it made them feel nauseous. Another found the coffee weak and the crepe bland. A few note the shop is tiny and popular with locals, and one mentions a minimum spend on card. One family says the kids loved their crepe.

“Best crêpes in Bristol! To be fair, it’s the only one I have had, but it was delicious, and the service was top-drawer.”

“Went in a few months ago, a lovely brown haired girl made me the most delicious crepe I’d ever had with such a superb oat flat white with a gorgeous heart on I felt so appreciated and looked after, however I went in recently and a bald headed aggressive man made me a boiling hot burnt sludge coffee and a sweaty crepe that was so wet with slimy cheese that I felt nauseous. Beware when you attend this cabin the quality varies dramatically. I enjoyed my experience the first time but after the second I will NOT be back”

“Mega. Kids loved it. Choc and banana was solid. Great view and the bridge even swung open when we were sat there. Thank you 🫡”

“I really liked the mushroom avocado crepe, the crepes are freshly made in front of you and the portion is generous. I also liked the speciality tea Rooibos that is unique to South Africa. I enjoyed my food while admiring the view of the canal and so overall I would say it was a lovely breakfast in Bristol :)”

“I just have mine captured in photo, but the crepe I ordered was delicious despite being simple. It was everything I had wanted that morning. My partner had one that had mushrooms in it. Very filling. The shop itself is tiny, but you can tell the locals love it and hang out for the morning coffee.”
