About Cafe Ang
Cafe Ang is a newly opened cafe on Church Rd in Bristol, built around a numbered breakfast menu. Customers order by number, such as breakfast number 3, then swap items out or add extras, and bubble and squeak is available as an additional extra. The cooked breakfast comes with black pudding, bacon and sausages, and a veggie breakfast gives meat-free diners their own option. A cheese and mushroom omelette is also on the menu. Inside, the cafe seats around 20 people.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is what reviewers return to Cafe Ang for, led by the cooked breakfast plates. One diner praises the black pudding, bacon and sausages, plus chopped potatoes in place of chips, and says the kitchen offered extras when eggs and mushrooms were declined. Close behind, a large breakfast bap is called tasty, a veggie breakfast with bacon is described as full of flavour and not greasy, and bubble and squeak is available as an extra. Reviewers repeatedly describe friendly staff, fast service and good value, and several call the place clean and tidy. The one complaint is a huge cheese and mushroom omelette that was a bit wet because the mushrooms were not browned enough. Reviewers also mention a free sausage and water for dogs, and one carer says staff were patient with a client with dementia who did not want to leave. Another reviewer says staff filled flasks with hot water and cleaned a baby's bottles free of charge.

“Absolutely brilliant Cafe. The nicest place we have visited. We have travelled from East Riding of Yorkshire and accidentally bought the wrong kettle. These lovely people kindly filled our flasks with hot water and cleaned our 5 month old babies bottles, free of charge. Very rare to find people like that these days. Honestly 10 star reviews from us. A must visit on your travels if passing by 😊”

“Popped in for breakfast this morning whilst I checked emails and was very pleasantly surprised, lots to choose from on the menu, I went for breakfast number 3 and didnt want eggs or mushroom so they offered extras which other places won't do. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food came out pretty quick and I have to say it was one of the best iv had. The black pudding was cooked perfectly (other places they were like bricks), bacon was perfect (some places give you bacon which is hardly cooked), sausages perfect i even had some chopped up potatoes on my plate which made a change from chips lol. All in all it was a perfect break time for me, so to all the ladies working there thank you very much.”

“Came in a couple of weeks ago hanging from a night out with my mate and had a cheese and mushroom omelette. It was absolutely huge. Tasted great, the only issue I have is it was a bit wet but I think that was from the mushrooms which weren't browned enough for the moisture to evaporate. Other than that. Class. It's a tiny little place with some lovely women running the show.”
