  “I have been coming here for years, have seen lots of price hikes and much smaller portions over the years as to be expected with inflation however in my recent visit I have now noticed ingredients changes, cookie sandwich ganache has now changed and is more of a milk chocolate rather than a dark ganache, also used very sparingly and presentation no where near standard as previously was. Branded takeaway boxes have also now been removed. It’s one thing to put up costs and reduce portion sizes but now to change the products themselves is a real shame and I probably wouldn’t make the trip to purchase them anymore. Real shame as this was always my favourite treat”

  “The cakes and hot chocolates were tasty. However, I was very disapointed, in this day and age, that my son was served his milkshake (to eat in) in a plastic cup with a plastic lid. Additionally, our table was dirty. Please stop using single-use plastics. At the prices you are charging, I'm sure there is sufficient to cover the cost of washing up glasses.”

  “The Matilda chocolate cake is delicious. You can choose from three different chocolate drizzles. Nice variety of pastries and drinks. Plenty of space to sit.”

  “Didn't enjoy my experience today. The staff working around 6pm - 7pm are not friendly, made me feel bad for asking for suggestions. She didn't advise me nicely about what is good compared to my experience in Cardiff branch. The vibe is off as well. Won't be coming again”

  “The 72% hot chocolate was thick and decadent and also super balanced for being dark chocolate. The dessert tasted too sweet and sugary so I wasn't a fan, but still 5 stars for the hot chocolate and the little chocolate treat that comes with it!”

  “Cosy café where you can get all things chocolate. We thoroughly enjoyed the "Brownie Sundae"! The atmosphere was relaxed, the only negative was the noise, it wasn't overly crowded but still a bit noisier than I like.”

  “Mrs Potts has been a favourite of mine for years with its amazing cakes and cute atmosphere. Every time I go in I love the cakes and brownies as well as the drinks but sadly it has got so expensive that I only go once a year now. I am very pleased that you no longer have to pay for chocolate drizzle but with a coffee and slice of cake costing £11 it’s hard to justify regular visits. Nevertheless the staff are always lovely and the food is incredible.”

  “Mrs Potts Chocolate House is easily accessible. The cafe itself is decorated with warm lights and is pleasing to the eyes. It’s popular in the area and it gets very busy as well. There are few seats and you have to check if people are done so you can take over their table. (4 stars for this) Food wise it was scrumptious. We ordered their salted caramel pretzel cupcake and their chocolate cake (I forgot the name) without the drizzle. Both were fabulous. As for the cupcake, there was a perfect balance from the cake to the icing and to the pretzel. There was a crunch when you bit it in the cake was moist and it was flavourful. The chocolate cake on the other hand was also tasty! Velvety touch when you bite into it and the flavour is there. We also ordered there Earl Grey tea and a coffee which were a perfect pair for the sweet deserts we ordered.”

  “This place is chocolate heaven! During my short visit to Bristol I popped into Mrs.Potts for a quick coffee with cake. I ordered the Matilda cake and the chocolate mousse cake. All cakes come with chocolate poured on top. You can choose which flavours you want. I also got some coffee to go with the cakes. Both cakes tasted soft and fresh. The coffees complimented the taste of the cakes. The place has a vibe on it’s own. Perfect for a coffee date.”

  “Exceptional quality on all the items on their menu! Their hot chocolate is delicious, i would recommend adding the marshmallow fluff and eating it while its in your hot Chocolate. Their brownies, cookies, and vegan desserts are all very tasty and made with quality! Worth mentioning that their staff are extra kind. Now with their new shop looking lovely, i would recommend a nice well developed app that you can order for collection and collect stamps.”
