About Society Café
Society Café is a speciality coffee cafe in Bristol, on Farr's Ln beside the water on the Harbourside. The coffee list draws on more than one roaster, including Round Hill Coffee, and a board of tasting notes describes each coffee to help with choosing. Drinks are made by espresso and by filter, and the team brings them to your table. Baked goods and cakes sit alongside the coffee, and smoothies are on offer for anyone who wants something other than coffee. Some seats look out over boats on the water. The cafe is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return above all for the coffee, singling out the espresso, a filter coffee served at the right temperature, and a latte and flat white whose tasting notes of almond and croissant came through with milk. Close behind is the staff, described as friendly and well trained, who bring drinks to the table and will advise on the different brewing methods and the two or more roasters on offer. Diners also mention the chai latte's spiced flavour, the walnut and coffee muffin, baked goods and smoothies. Many like the roomy interior, the spot beside the water where boats can be watched, free wi-fi, and a welcome for dogs, with one reviewer noting a queue of regulars before 7.30 on a weekday morning. The criticism is small but specific: one reviewer found the room stuffy and the lemon cake meh, and another wished the iced coffee used crushed ice. One visitor closes with a leaf that landed in their coffee, joking about whether to take it or leave it on the table.

“If you love espresso these guys know how to make an amazing coffee. So many places sell coffee but not many can make a great espresso! Love the baked goods and smoothies and everyone is always so amazingly polite, friendly and chirpy. Thanks guys - you make my mornings at the office a treat. 🤩”

“Arrived one morning at 7.25am and there was already a queue, which is an extremely good sign. The different coffees on offer is amazing and I was so pleased they did an amazing filter coffee 12oz and exactly the right temperature. Dog friendly too. The number of locals and regulars popping in on their way to work speaks volumes for the coffee on offer.”

“It was alright, had an oat flat white, cute vibes, cute place but felt quite stuffy in there. The lemon cake thing was meh, I do not recommend.”
