  “This is quite close to home. Te food and the wine is just what I.was looking for,given the ti.e.of day, ligbt and quick. The staff are safety conscious when it comes to allergies, for which I am.grateful given my allergies to shellfish as I like fish and knowing what I can safely eat. Uu fortunately the decor is starting to look tired which is a shame as it is a lovely room. Thankyou Crosshands.”

  “Had a lovely meal tonight with family. The staff were all really polite and helpful especially Mila, Ollie and Kirsty. Food was beautifully cooked, and my dog enjoyed her snack, will definitely be back.”

  “As a last minute booking the room is nice however a little small.. i had a meal in the restaurant and was given a warm welcome and both Lydia and Kirsty greeted me with a nice smile. The food was great and I would recommend eating here. Thank you again Ladies”

  “My husband and I went here for lunch with our neighbour yesterday. This is the third time we have been here in recent years and have always enjoyed it. The staff and service were excellent, especially Christine, who was running the restaurant that day and was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Food is always good here and they do a lunch time 'smaller plates' menu where you can choose up to three courses for a very reasonable price. Can highly recommend.”

  “My wife and her bridesmaids stayed here while getting ready for our wedding in June (married at Old Sodbury Church), and we honestly couldn't have been happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything went perfectly. Jon's communication from the outset was very good, and we were able to book the 8 rooms a year out from the wedding which took some of the stress off. We hired the private dining room for an evening meal for 14 of us to enjoy the evening together, and everybody raved about their food. The price was unbeatable too. I'd asked the photographer how Sophie was when she got to the church and her response was "She's so chill!" and part of that is down to how organised and accommodating the hotel and staff were. Having everything run so smoothly took so much stress off us, and allowed my bride to relax and truly enjoy the day as it unfolded. We are incredibly grateful to Jon and the whole team for everything they did to help make our day so special. In particular, we really appreciated the flexibility around opening times and morning access to the 'Badminton Room', which had been one of my biggest worries given how early wedding preparations can start. The team went above and beyond to accommodate us, and it made such a difference to the entire experience. The hotel laid on a continental spread for my wife and her bridesmaids in the Badminton Room which was much enjoyed and appreciated, ensuring everybody was well fuelled for the day. The hotel played a huge part in making our wedding day feel effortless, and we couldn't recommend them enough!”

  “The bar and kitchen staff at the Cross Hands were awesome during our stay! Christine took care of us for both dinner and breakfast and was absolutely lovely. Thank you Christine and the Cross Hands team!”

  “Great location for attending Badminton horse trials. Rooms are adequate but if you have a road facing room it is noisy. Food is hearty & tasty but it’s the staff that make it. Friendly & super helpful. A big shoutout to Kirsty who went above & beyond during check in.”

  “We hired out the hall for our daughter’s 18th birthday and it was an exceptional evening and our daughter had the best time. Paul made the experience reassuring from the start, we had a look around and our daughter was able to gain her vision from the start. We were able to decorate the hall before the event making life a little easier. The staff were friendly and helpful and if we had any future events we would definitely hire this hall again. Thank you to everyone who helped make this occasion special”
