“Stopped by with my dog after a lovely long walk from Blaise Castle to Kings Weston House for a refreshing glass of wine (or two). The atmosphere was fantastic, and the pub is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated to a very high standard. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuinely lovely. My dog, Daphne, especially enjoyed the free treats and all the fuss she received! The menu looks amazing, and I can’t wait to come back and try the food. Highly recommended!”

“We found this little gastropub after a walk in Blaise Castle grounds. What a lovely surprise. Great beer, nice staff, we didn't eat but they seem to have lovely food. Lots of people were visiting and booking tables to eat here. We'd definitely visit again and eat next time. Lots of different people visiting with family and dogs included.”

“First time of visiting The Blaise Inn. Had a lovely lunch sat in the garden. Lots of people enjoying the sun, but not noisy. I had Onglet steak cook medium rare and my friend had trout which looked delicious and appatently was lovely. Just the right portion size for me. Sadly no room for dessert. Staff were really friendly, helpful and service with a smile. Will definitely eat there again.”

“Food was OK. Honestly, I expected more from a place in this price range. Portions were really suited to one person and not ideal for sharing. The atmosphere, however, was genuinely delightful. It was the part I enjoyed the most. The worst part was finding a small metal pellet (the kind used in hunting birds) in my pheasant. When I pointed it out, the staff tried to convince me it was a pepper seed or something similar, which was quite disappointing. If a restaurant is serving game birds that may still contain pellets, they should at least give customers a clear heads-up.”
