Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most mentions, with the avo eggs, salmon and eggs, and a full English that one diner calls elite, adding halloumi on a fellow reviewer's tip. Coffee comes close behind, with several calling it better than anywhere else in Southwick, and the cakes are described as a great size. A falafel halloumi wrap and plenty of gluten free options also get mentioned. Staff are repeatedly called lovely and friendly, and the place is described as clean, with real flowers on the tables. Reviewers note the cafe is good value by Brighton standards. The criticisms are specific. One reviewer found the Drury breakfast average, with bacon that was just ok, eggs that were not runny and hash browns that were not crispy. Another found the house tea weak with a slight honey aftertaste and the milk jugs pretty but poor at pouring. A third struggled to hear a friend over the music and other conversations. Dog walkers praise the welcome for pets, and one dog enjoyed a leftover sausage.

“Their English Breakfast is elite. I stayed in the area last summer and I still haven’t found a better breakfast since… top tip - add Halloumi 👍”

“Ordered a mini breakfast and tea. Very happy with portion size, taste and cost. All good but I personally felt the famed Drury tea to be quite a weak tea with a slight honey aftertaste but then I drink Yorkshire regularly so it might be I just prefer strong tea. Annoying milk jugs that whilst pretty dont actually pour properly. Decor is bright and bubbly with nice flowers and pleasant smell. Quite clean and tidy. Friendly and attentive staff. Well worth coming again”

“Had lunch with a friend there. Enjoyed the food and the drinks, but it was a bit difficult to hear one another over the music and everybody else's conversations. If you are a fan of plastic plants you would like their "greenery". I personally liked the beautiful real flowers on the tables. Nice touch.”
