About City Vaults
City Vaults is a gastropub in Bradford with an art glass ceiling overhead and a maze-like layout spread over two levels, plus an extension. Bar games share the space with screens showing football and a few games machines. The food menu covers pub dishes including lasagne, scampi and a fish butty, along with Yorkshire specialities. The drinks list is wide, with beer and cider on tap. Crowds gather before gigs at nearby venues, so the pub fits a stop on the way to a show. City Vaults is at 33 Hustlergate.

Customer Review Summary
Diners return most for generous, reasonably priced pub meals, with a mixed grill, fish butty, lasagne, scampi, pizza and a bacon cheeseburger with fries all named as tasty and well portioned. Several describe eating here repeatedly, including two who had lunch on consecutive days. Close behind is friendly, hard-working staff who kept bar and kitchen service quick even when the pub was packed before a gig nearby. Reviewers also praise the choice of drinks, including beer and cider on tap, and a well-stocked sauce selection by the bar. The art glass ceiling is called the winning feature, and the spacious layout across two levels, with outside tables, left room to find a corner. Games machines and football screens add to a mixed, lively crowd that one reviewer still found comfortable. One family noted there was no kids menu but ordered adult meals for the children, who loved them. The one slip described was a reserved table given away, after which a young server found another table and apologised repeatedly.

“Came in for food as a family of four. No kids menu, but at those prices, it didnt matter! We ordered adult meals for the kids and they loved it! £37 for 4 amazing fresh and well portioned meals. Great service, lovely surroundings. Will definitely be back!”

“My Mum and I were in Bradford on family business and we ate here each lunchtime as it was great value for money, staff were helpful and friendly, a good atmosphere although did not witness this place at it's busiest time, but there was still a great crowd of customers. We ate the lasagne and was absolutely worth every penny and day two we had the scampi. Portion sizes were ample and well presented. We did not experience any problems whilst visiting and if we were back in the area at any point we would definitely revisit City Vaults.”
