About The Micro Moose
The Micro Moose is a Canadian-themed micropub in Bournemouth, found at 326 Wimborne Rd. The beer list draws on smaller, local breweries, and new beers go on each week. Real ales and ciders are offered alongside them, and there is also a gin selection and a range of snacks. Board games and cards are free to use, which gives a table of friends something to play over a drink. A live music night is held once a month, adding a regular event to the calendar. Dogs are welcome inside.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the beer, with a rotating range from smaller local breweries, and several mention new beers appearing every week. One singles out the rhubarb cider as unavailable elsewhere, another the Lush Micro Irnbrew Sour, and one adds a nice selection of gin. Real ales and ciders get a mention too, along with the snack selection. Staff come across as friendly, attentive and helpful, with one barman offering local knowledge and recommendations to a first-time visitor. Others describe a calm early evening atmosphere with free board games and cards, plus a monthly live music night. The main caveat is choice: two reviewers found the selection limited or not much on their visit, and one says the Luck Buddha beer did not match its good-looking bottle. Another is surprised the place is not busier, and one notes the takeaway option and the Canadian theme.

“This drinks at this place are fantastic and there’s a variety from smaller, local breweries. You can’t find cider like rhubarb bob’s anywhere else! Love coming here with my friends. The bar guy is lovely. Fantastic service. They have all sorts of board games and cards, free to use! Just be respectful :) Music isn’t too loud, nice and calm atmosphere in the early evening. Perfect for a catch up with a mate 10/10 hidden gem 💎”
