  “I’m so gutted that I only found this pub half way through my last year at uni, it’s so great (and cheap) and all the staff are genuinely lovely everytime you go. The manager Lizzie is also the best always so friendly and accommodating. Really going to miss it!!!”

  “Have eaten at this pub a couple of times since the refurbishment. Food is very good, good value for money, comes out quickly after ordering and mindful of allergens if you order at the bar. Staff are lovely, attentive, make sure everything is good for you and then leave you to it when needed. Kim especially was amazing, making sure our dog was looked after as well as us. Really kind, thank you Kim!”

  “I visited the refurbished Richmond yesterday. Absolutely amazing! It feels homely and inviting indoors. The garden is fabulous now. They have made the most of the outdoor space, they have TVs for the football, and lots of seating. The new menu is great, pub classics with a modern twist. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I spoke briefly to the general manager who is so passionate about her pub, and is shows. Well done everyone. I shall be a regular visitor now.”

  “Very noisy inside No customers, lots of machines and screens overwhelming the interior. Food; plate very hot but food luke warm!.looked nice from the outside but would not re visit even though local !!! Very poorl overall; when ordering asked for a table number even though none of the tables outside had numbers on them!They couldn't originally order even though I was the only one outside; until a member of staff said put down fire exit.!! Would like it to do well but needs alot of front of house focus otherwise will need yet another re launch”

  “A great opening night following refurbishment, well done to all of you. Perfect mix evening with live music, then world cup footage. Simply delicious food tasters by lovely waiting staff and a complimentary drink on arrival. Bar staff, and Lizzy exceptionally welcoming as usual. Great launch to a new chapter for the pub. We have been back twice since the launch, TVs in the garden a great addition. Atmosphere was buzzing and plenty of seating. We can't wait for the next visit.”

  “This is a great pub, glad we found it. Good menu, good prices, great garden and really friendly staff. Pub has had a decent refit and is really nice. The manager is doing a great job here and has a good team of staff They also do a great discount for students too. Great find, I recommend and we will be back.”

  “The Richmond has been our local for almost 20 years, and we have seen it in good times and rough times. The recent refurb has really brought the heart back, and it isn't just a lick of paint: inside is immaculate, from the bar to the bathrooms, and outside, the garden is almost unrecogniseable for how they've redone the space, with big screens for the summer sporting events and covered seating for the inevitable British weather. We're back to a pub that looks as good as it has always been, that the hardworking staff can be proud of.”

  “Returned to The Richmond after several years,( originally stopped going as was fed up with the state of the toilets!) Wow! What a transformation! Recently renovated it is absolutely wonderful. Great staff and atmosphere. Wonderful new beer garden with 2 huge tv screens, covered eating area and new comfortable chairs and cushions! Plus the toilets are brand new too!!!!! Such a great renovation, everyone must be so proud. Will definitely be making it our local again.”
