  “ONE TASTE…. More like NO TASTE! Excessive amount of MSG. LIN CHI changed their name recently to ONE TASTE. This would appear quite apt, as EVERYTHING on the menu literally tastes the same. This because of the sheer amount of MSG that is used in ALL the dishes. The food here has NEVER been spectacular and I have only ever ordered from here a handful of times. This is because MAN HONG- the BEST CHINESE in north London, sadly closed. Lin Chi/ ONE TASTE, does not even come close. There is absolutely NOTHING special about their Special Fried Rice- bland ( I’m Sure they mix old/left over rice into to it )their beef is dry, their Satay Chicken tough and peanut sauce is watery. Every thing is smothered in MSG, so your tongue mouth and lips prickle on every bite. THIS INGREDIENT should absolutely be explicitly highlighted on the menu, right next to where they advertise all the so called allergens. But it is purposefully omitted. The people that work there really have no basic understanding of what customer service is. They really do not care. Everyone in Burnt Oak and Edgware share the same opinion of the RUDE telephone girl. Prices have gone up steadily but quality has gone down steadily. They charge £2:50 for local deliveries, even if you are spending over £50 and they take over an hour to deliver….. and I’m a 3 minute drive away. They literally just want your money. I called them back and told them of my poor experience and that it would be the last time they got any of my well earned cash. Don’t waste your time and money… there are plenty FAR BETTER and tastier Chinese in the area that are more value for money.”

  “It’s alright the food nothing special tried few things on the menu and eaten from here a few times when desperate I mean it’s okay just abit to salty … and some food just taste the same or abit stale not enough meat or seafood or it’s got to much batter … also could give some sweat sour vinegar dip for the starters would be nice”

  “I’ve had a lot of Chinese food and honestly this is the best Chinese place and I can say hands down my favourite place to choose to have a cheat day! Every time I order, the food is fresh, flavourful, and consistently delicious. The prawn chow mein is always a solid 10/10 — packed with juicy prawns, perfectly cooked noodles, and just the right balance of seasoning. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every dish. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the food is always ready on time. If you’re looking for a reliable Chinese takeaway that never disappoints, Lin Chi is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend and Sam is so lovely!”

  “Exceptional service to start with especially the very friendly pretty lady at the reception & the chefs are literally the bestt! The food is incredibly delicious and the right amount of flavour and spice👌🏽I wanna say thank you soo much for the lovely meal chefs!🫶🏼 if you want a proper fresh High Quality Meal that will really get you from Hungry to Happy in no time, Order from the One & Only LINCHI enjoyed it as usual and it’s very filling so I’m soo satisfied ☺️appreciate you lots x. PS: I recommend you( Grab you the 2PL {Rice & chicken}spicy, extra sauce & Beef chow mein, make that spicy too pls….🤔Oh! And can’t forget the pot of black bean sauce on the side!   “Great food and great quality the portions was massive and very tasty. Definitely a good Chinese to eat and when I called they said they would take 45 minutes and that's exactly how long they took to make the delivery. I would definitely order from here again my favourite one was 2PL hight recommend”

  “I’ve been ordering from Lin Chi for years and to be fair you can’t really go wrong with a 2pl box meal. However the prices have gone up again and the quality has remained the same. Today I ordered my usual 2pl box meal alongside a 6PL sweet and sour chicken HK style. The 6PL was very poor and lacked flavour and the special fried rice was quite cold with not too much taste. What tops of the poor visit today is the customer service, always poor without fail. This is something I have dealt with because it was good value for money but now it’s not worth the poor service at all.”
