Customer Review Summary

Cheesy garlic bread is the most repeated draw, described as piping hot and full of flavour, and one reviewer calls it a must as a starter or side. Close behind are the pasta dishes: carbonara, with one diner calling it the best they have had, spaghetti bolognese, a crab meat linguine with sea bass from the specials, and salmon linguine. A lasagne, steak filet, and fried halloumi with king prawns also get praise, and dessert is called just as impressive. Reviewers describe friendly, polite staff with Italian charm, food that arrives in good time, and prices they consider reasonable for family meals and larger groups. The recurring complaint is parking, which a couple of reviewers call difficult, though one found a spot on a side street. One reviewer adds that anyone who dislikes oily food might prefer the seafood risotto, and another advises booking because a Saturday evening was busy. One family finished salmon linguine and the kids' spaghetti bolognaise with not an empty plate in sight.

“We had a booked for 14 family members today and everyone of us loved everything that was served. You could tell that attention had been given to every meal. But just as important was the service which couldn’t have been any better. Thank you for making it so memorable”

“Absolutely delicious meal, first time we've been, went with family and it was amazing. Lovely cheesy garlic bread to start, piping hot and full of flavor. I then ordered the special, crab meat linguine with sea bass and I'm not just saying this, but, one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Jam packed with crab meat and so full of flavor, the pasta itself perfectly cooked. No complaints from the table and the staff, restaurant, service, everything top quality.”

“This has to be the best Italian I’ve had! Our first time here and enjoyed a full three-course meal along with a few alcoholic drinks. Everything was absolutely perfect. We started with fried halloumi and king prawns, both cooked beautifully, followed by the steak filet and spaghetti bolognese, which were packed with flavour and left our plates spotless. We finished with dessert, which was just as impressive as the rest of the meal. The service was spot on, our food came out in great time, and the waiters and waitresses were friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. Considering the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the drinks added, we thought the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back!”

“So me and my Wife live local and Today was our first time eating at Casalingo Italian restaurant in Ainsworth village but we have long known about the fantastic reputation that Casalingo has locally. We booked a table for 2 for 3:30pm but when we arrived the restaurant was quiet we were warmly greeted by a waitress who seated us at a table in the restaurant. A few minutes later our waitress came back to ask what we wanted to drink, My Wife opted for a Large glass of Merlot(Red Wine 🍷) and I opted for a crisp cold pint of Peroni, Drinks were well presented and tasted delicious. A few minutes later the waitress arrived to take our food order so to start we both opted for Mussels, My Wife opted for Mussels Marinara(Tomato, Garlic etc), I opted for Mussels in Cream sauce, The food was well presented and tasted delicious the Mussels were so fresh and I've never seen Mussels that big in my life. We finished our starters and we were ready for our Mains so my Wife opted for a Penne Arriabbiata and I opted for Beef and Spinach Canelloni with a side order of Cheesy Garlic bread, The food was very well presented, The food was delicious, Generous portions and authentic Italian food all the different flavours really complimented each other. The service was fantastic, Polite and Friendly staff, Fantastic food, Fantastic drink in a lovely setting. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 32,000,000+ views on Google alone.
