What reviewers say
Reviewers most often mention authentic neapolitan cuisine, octopus, tiramisu and negroni.
Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise authentic Neapolitan cooking that a few say felt like being back in Naples, with fresh ingredients and delicious plates. The octopus, described as soft and paired with a balanced sauce and sampfire, and a pasta with slow cooked beef ragu draw particular mention, while another diner calls the pasta and pizza mains unbelievable. Close behind is the welcome: diners describe warm, friendly waiters who take time to explain the menu and wine, an owner who made an anniversary and a family birthday feel special, and a manager who looked after one table. Dessert also gets a nod, with tiramisu and a dessert special of the week, and one reviewer praises the Negroni. Others point to an extensive bar and a large menu, and one found a Tuesday night quiet and chilled-out. No complaints surface. One couple ordered a sharing starter and asked for their mains to be halved onto two plates, which the restaurant handled without any problem.

“We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Ristorante Vesuvio, and what a perfect choice it was! From the very first bite, it felt like we had been transported straight back to Naples. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour, and our taste buds were definitely celebrating! Everything was so delicious that we ate it all before I even had the chance to take any photos! 😅 A special thank you to Giuseppe the Owner for making our evening even more memorable. The food, the atmosphere, and the warm hospitality made our anniversary truly special. If you're looking for genuine Neapolitan cuisine, I couldn't recommend Ristorante Vesuvio highly enough. We can't wait to come back!”
