Customer Review Summary
Sharing platters anchor the praise, with reviewers describing lamb and chicken cooked well on rice and cous cous, a platter for two or three that comfortably feeds three, and jumbo and family platters that fed a birthday party of 40. Close behind are individual mains. One reviewer rates the Lamb Beyti above the lahmacun, chicken şiş and adana, and another calls the lamb casserole delicious and full of flavour. Fried halloumi and falafel with hummus also get mentioned as starters, with one diner who usually dislikes halloumi calling the fried version incredible. Service earns repeated warmth, with staff described as friendly, welcoming and accommodating, and one reviewer says a manager made the table feel like family. The recurring complaint is cost. One reviewer knocks off a star because mains feel quite expensive, and another calls it a little expensive while noting big portions. Free bread, olives and dips arrive before mains, and Turkish tea on the house ends the meal. One diner asked to pack leftovers and received a takeaway box holding another full meal.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Experience at Turknaz We had a fantastic experience at Turknaz. Pari, the host/manager, was welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived, and Hafsa, our server, provided excellent service throughout our visit. I had the lamb casserole, and it was absolutely lovely — delicious, well-cooked and full of flavour. The food overall was great, but what really stood out was the service. From the minute we walked in until the minute we left, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. A big thank you to Pari and Hafsa for making our visit such a lovely experience. We’ll definitely be coming back! ❤️”

“The food here is undeniable - everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We shared a platter among four of us, along with halloumi and falafel with humous starters. Even as someone who usually isn't a fan of halloumi, the fried version here was incredible. The ambiance is cozy and beautiful, and the customer service was top-notch. The only reason for knocking off a star is the pricing. At nearly £20+ per main dish, it feels quite expensive. Great spot for a high-quality meal, but be prepared for the bill 👀”

“I had the most wonderful experience at turknazz Moseley. I was invited for my friend melodys 60th birthday party. I was so surprised at how beautiful the decoration looked it was gold and white very beautiful. The lovely manger perinaz even went out of her way to buy us good decorations such as plates napkins straws and party hats to celebrate. Moving on the the food and drinks, the food was spectacular and filling enough for 40 people. We ordered 2 turknazz jumbo platters which fed up to 25 people. It came with 2 hot mix meze filled with calamari, helloumi, falafels, sigara borek and the cold meze was with hummus, babaghanoush, these fire peppers and tomatoes and a yoghurt and cucumber dip. And 2 family platter which fed up to 15. This was the best Turkish food I had ever had since I visited bodrum turkey a few years back. Everything was authentic and the chefs were very nice. Thanks to the amazing waiters and the manager perinaz we had amazing service. She made us mocktails and mints from pina coladas to frozen daiquiris they a variety of choices to choose from. We had gotten complementary bread and dips before the meal and complementary Turkish tea and Turkish delight after the meal. The restaurant itself had a very calming and authentic Turkish vibe, with lanterns and decoration everywhere and even frames of the different locations in turkey. 10/10 service highly recommend for party’s and just normal gatherings.”
