  “This is a tiny place opposite the mosque that used to be the capitol cinema. It’s pretty similar to variety bites on alum rock road but not sure if there is a connection. I ordered the potato with chilli con carne which is £5. I asked for cheese and jalapeños and total bill came to £6. However, much to my chagrin, no cheese was put on it. The mince was nice but the potato seems low quality, the next morning I also had an upset stomach. I plan on trying the Mexican pasta and pasta bolognese next.”

  “ladpool road branch was closed so i’ve decided to go the second branch on alumrock road ,, food not the same as ladypool road , secondly food an hygiene should be better staff should be wearing gloves for handling foood or touch the bread !!! and stuff in the shop are all over the place not organised at all , my stomach was hurting me all day and it’s caused me sicknes , please for handling foood use gloves .PPE”

  “I bought 4 Cajun baguette meals and one fresh orange juice. Food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Only thing I would add is that the chicken marinade needs a touch more spice/flavour, so it comes through when you bite into the baguette. Bobby’s customer service and mannerisms were excellent. An honest service from an honest gentleman. Keep up the great work. The bill came to approx £31. Will be trying out the paninis next time which have also been recommended. Excellent food quality and excellent customer service. Keep it up guys. Thnx”

  “The famous Bobby's. It's been around for more than 10 years and always known and recommended by people from outside of the local area. It's famous for its Cajun Chicken and Spicy Baguettes. They also do a full breakfast, rice, chips and pizzas. It has 2 tables for groups of 4 but very compact and limited. It's the most clean and hygienic establishment in the UK (I think the owner has OCD). The standards are unmatched. The service is quick and food prepared diligently. Always busy, especially with the regulars. Most meals come with a salad and it's consistently fresh and of a high quality (a huge sign of a good food place!). The owner always engages with his customers. There have been many copycats of this takeout but nothing compares to the original.”

  “Good food, jacket potato with cajun chicken and fresh salad. Not salad that's been sat there for 5 years but fresh. Don't change. £7.50 with a bottle of water. Fast service too.”

  “Recently discovered this place….it has quickly become my first choice for quality food. I’m working my way through the menu and have not been disappointed. Bobby is a true gentleman and his staff are very friendly. Highly recommend a visit.”

  “I used to absolutely LOVE bobby's however I have recently noticed they have made their baguettes much much smaller. I wasn't too happy and my family also noticed this too. I would've given this 5 stars however this issue has lowered my rating. Please bring back your old baguettes as they are more worthy of my 5 star review”
