  “Had a really lovely takeaway from here last night. Delivered promptly, piping hot and generous portion size. Food was beautifully spiced and fresh. We are old enough to remember the original balti of the 80s and have been looking for a real good authentic curry for a long time, and have found it here. My husband likes to try other places occasionally and we had a takeaway from a nearby long established restaurant recently, it was far more expensive and was so poor it ended up in the bin. Spice nation cannot be bettered. I HIGHLY recommend 👌, and can't wait for our next takeaway .”

  “1st time visit certainly won’t be the last, had a lovely lamb Balti had it slightly hotter than normal, absolutely perfectly spiced, pilau rice was lovely and the plain naan I had was also perfect. Will definitely use this place as my go too takeaway.”

  “Started using spice nation a few months back now after a not so pleasant take away from elsewhere. using the online booking is easy and convenient and they always reply, you can collect or get delivery the times are very accurate and the food is very good with a great variety of dishes give it a go if you feel like a change you won't regret it 👍”

  “Waited two hours for delivery and couldn't get through on the phone, terrible service. When I did get through, was told they were busy and everyone else was in the same boat. Tool me an hour to get through and was fobbed off, terrible service all round!”

  “Spice Nation never fails to provide a great takeaway meal. It’s our local Indian takeaway & we absolutely love it. Food is always spot on & the collection times are always accurate - food is always ready when we collect. We sometimes are given a free starter too, which is alway a bonus! 👍🏻”

  “We have been ordering food from Spice Nation every few weeks since they opened in Drakes Cross. Initially, the food was great with fair portions for the price. However, our recent meals have been a let down. Firstly, when ordering on Mondays & Tuesdays, they offer a discount but when we order the set meal for 2 or the set meal for 1, they tell, us over the phone that the discount is not available. Fair enough, but then we find that the portion sizes are smaller. Secondly, there's no consistency at all. Occasionally the food is good and tasty but most of the time (past 3 months) the flavour is not authentic. I think it's down to chance as to which chef is working and what ingredients he chooses to throw in. Also, having tried various recipes from TV chefs, I feel as though my wife or I can do a better job which we will continue to do so. I realise that the food business is tough but business owners should not be complacent and ensure that every cook or chef uses the right ingredients for each particular meal so that the customer gets what they order.”
