About Roti Wala dera 2
Roti Wala dera 2 is an Indian takeaway on Kitt's Green Rd in Birmingham, at number 318. The kitchen makes rotis and naans in a large size, with a selection of breads, and that suits the large-group, party and pre-ordered catering orders it takes. Curries include chicken jalfrezi and butter chicken, so a group can build an order around breads and mains. Samosas come with chutney, and pakoras are served alongside them. Ordering is walk-in, so customers come to the counter. Catering and party orders are placed ahead of the day they are needed.

Customer Review Summary
Samosas are the draw reviewers raise most, called "next level" and "incredible" and served with chutney, with pakoras mentioned alongside. Close behind are the curries, where the chicken jalfrezi and butter chicken get specific praise, and a selection of breads, with rotis and naans described as huge. Several mention generous portions and good value, and one reviewer pre-ordered for up to 100 people and another called for a last-minute party order. Staff and the owner are repeatedly described as friendly and lovely, and the place is called very clean. The caveat comes from two reviewers who describe poor service. One says hidden charges later became "the rules" and that the person at the front communicates badly. The other waited about 20 minutes for four naans, complained, and was asked to leave by two workers, who refused to serve and returned the money. Even so, a reviewer who ordered a party spread said everyone loved it and plans to use the place for future catering.

“10/10 food and service! Called through as we needed food for a party last minute, the man who served us was so lovely, the portions were so generous. The samosas, chutney and pakoras were incredible. Will definitely be back as this place can’t be beaten on taste, quality and price. Thank you 🙏🏼”

“Horrible place, Terrible customer service, the guy on the front doesn’t know how to communicate to the customers, put hidden chargers which later on comes to be the rules, robbing people. No go place. Put your money where you can get quality and good customer service.”

“Ordered 4 nans and waited about 20 minutes in shops. Upon complaining, the two workers both aged 20 to 25 ask me to leave the shop. Very very misbehaved staff (refused to serve and returned the money)”
