  “Went here for the first time yesterday for axe throwing and had a great time! We’d definitely come back to try the other activities. A huge thank you to Riah – she was so friendly, gave excellent customer service, and was really patient helping those of us who couldn’t quite get the hang of axe throwing. Highly recommend!”

  “If you're after a fun, noisy, chaotic Saturday date day, Boom Battle Bar delivers exactly that 😅 We went for the Boom Bundle, played shuffleboard, enjoyed a couple of great cocktails, and tucked into chicken burgers and chips between games. The atmosphere is lively and the staff were brilliant. Definitely not the place for peace and quiet, but if you want a few hours of competitive fun and a good laugh, it's spot on.”

  “Came in randomly to do something for fun and ended up with axe throwing hosted by the lovely Grace! She was so good and helpful, had a great laugh with and make the experience 10x better. She’s a credit to the place! Thank you Grace and bar team for the lovely cocktails”

  “Booked a birthday package of electric darts and crazier golf for 11 of us and honestly wasn’t blown away. The upstairs area is very small. We were kindly given both lanes for the darts but it was quite cramped between the 11 of us. There’s also a table in very close proximity which was occupied by a group of around 6 which made navigating around difficult. Darts itself was fun with a generous hours play time however would benefit from the game being projected on the board as opposed to a TV screen. Some darts didn’t register but that’s expected and our host said we could inform him and get it recalibrated if needed. We had the golf next and it was a huge let down. The counter appeared to be self serve as no one ever came up to issue the clubs/balls which is disappointing after we’ve paid and people could potentially just walk up and start playing for free. Again, a very small space that could comfortably fit around 4-5 instead of our 11. A few of the ‘holes’ didn’t even involve using your club and were more like arcade games, one in particular ‘the basketball hoops’ didn’t even have instructions so we were unsure of the points system. It looks very tired up there with props falling apart and glass on some of the games, it could really benefit from a refurb or just a bit of a tidy. We ended up taking about 25 minutes of our 1 hour slot because we just got bored and lost interest. The birthday package of 2 games and 2 drinks for £25 is good value IF you avoid the golf and go in a smaller group. It was a Saturday night so obviously was lively but the music downstairs was very loud, i’d bear this in mind if you book the axe throwing or beer pong down there. The bartender mixed up a few drinks due to the noise - one even took one of our drinks tokens then asked for another before serving the drink leaving one of our friends a drink down. All in all I probably wouldn’t visit again as there are better places for electric darts and the vibe downstairs wasn’t really for us. I will say though the disco button in the ladies bathroom was fun.”

  “Unfortunately it's a very tired venue. Crazier golf has broken and worn challenges. Some staff although polite didn't know the rules on being able to eat food on the crazy golf level, eventually once we were up there for our final booked experience, we found we could! Some staff do not know how to respond to vulnerable adults with ADHD and EPILEPSY (non-photo sensitive). Shout out to Yusef (hope ive spelt his name right) lovely fair door security man. Very respectful. People were having fun though. Staff are polite and helpful. ☆I WOULD LIKE TO ADD AN UPDATE. A REPRESENTATIVE OF BOOM BATTLE BAR POSTED A REPLY ASKING FOR ME TO CONTACT HER. I DID THIS. SINCE THEN, SHE HAS RETURNED NO FEEDBACK THEN SENT ME AN EMAIL BASICALLY SAYING SHE DIDNT UNDERSTAND WHY I WAS CONTACTING HER OR DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE EMAIL! SHE HAS COMPOUNDED MY OPINION OF THE SERVICE, SO IVE DROPPED IT BY ANOTHER STAR FOR FURTHER POOR SERVICE. Such a shame. I do not feel valued at all. LAST AND FINAL UP DATE. LOREN GOT IN TOUCH. She offered all that attended previously to visit again and enjoy a game/s on them, on a quieter day and apologised.”
