“This pub employs security guards who are pathetic little bullies. Turned up with 12 friends for food and drinks and security staff decided just because one of our female friends looked “drunk” they would not serve us. All we wanted was food, we were the threat or problem. Staff had zero rationale expect wanting to throw their weight around like bullies. Absolutely disgusting service luckily we went to the Thai down the road for better service, better food and spent all our money there. Will never return to a place that employs excessively heavy handed security staff acting for zero reason like we were trouble. Even when approached for a discussion they were disrespectful bullies.”

“Although a fan of Wetherspoons, this one was far below the norm. Yes food and drink is cheap and you expect the table to be sticky in any Wetherspoons, however there were a number of tables with dirty plates and glasses left to outstay the regulars that wait for opening. Tables were filthy beyond what is expected and the food gives a crematorium competition. The chef must have been cold. The staff who delivered food and drinks from the app order will not win any nominations for customer service inspiration with the grunt, chuck and dash method. The plus side, close to the station so you can find an alternative Wetherspoons at another location.”
