About Juniper Hale

Juniper Hale is a restaurant in Altrincham, at 163-165 Ashley Rd, built around a halal breakfast and brunch menu. The halal full English comes with hash browns and chicken sausages, so diners who want a cooked breakfast can have it halal. Mumbai scrambled eggs add a second egg dish to the morning menu. Customer Review Summary

Breakfast dishes anchor the praise, with the pancakes named most often. One reviewer calls them the best they have tried and recalls a vanilla berry cheesecake flavour, while a family brunch also rates them above the French toast. Close behind are the eggs: Mumbai scrambled eggs on a halal full English, poached eggs on spinach, eggs Benedict and Ottoman silk eggs, which one diner calls a great twist for someone who likes spice. Others mention a steak sandwich with onions, mushrooms and toasted ciabatta, a fresh apple, mint, celery and ginger juice, a Brie and salami panini, and the coffee and hot chocolate. Staff are described as friendly, polite and attentive, and one reviewer had unwanted items swapped out of a full English. The main complaint is a one-star visit where staff seemed irritated and refused to swap a slightly bitter orange and mango juice, and the reviewer also objected to the drink prices and to the truffle fries that arrived. Another diner found the steak sandwich and English breakfast only ok. A pot of tea arrived before one breakfast.

“Went in for breakfast on a Friday morning just after 11. Delighted they were still doing breakfast, but more delighted that they had a table. There's a friendly atmosphere to the place, with nice decor and lovely staff. The physical menu itself is unusual and clever, as are the choices for breakfast. We had eggs Benedict and Ottomon Silk eggs, which were a great twist for someone who likes spice for breakfast. Great place and next time I fly into Mancherster, it will be my first stop.”

“Went there yesterday for brunch and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—attentive without being intrusive. All three meals ordered were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Hopefully this will be the first of many visits. Highly recommended!”

“Ordered sizzling egg with kale spinach and halal full english brrakfast with mumbai scrambled eggs. Firstly the poached eggs on spinach were cooked to perfection, ans the spinach was softened to the right degree. Wasnt soggyz wasnt too dry - just the right amount. There were red chilly flakes which interestingly entiched the flavour - it didn't overkill the taste or outpowered the overall experience. Mushrooms added an aftertaste which were chunky and nice. Sourdough toasts with slight butter on them accompanied this brilliantly. The halal eng breakfast - the mumbai scrambled eggs were the winner, despite me not being to keen on coriander. The sauce was blended in the correct texture and did not make the egg soggy or anything. The chefs know exactly what they are doing there 👩‍🍳 🍳 kudos... hash browns were golden, chicken sausages were slightly crispy on the outside soft eniugh on the inside 👏 👏 And lastly , you must try their coffee which is apparently Juniper coffee beans and it has a low-medium strength taste. Barista knows how to make coffee and not burn your milk in the process. It may sound like a joke when i say that but it is amazing how many decent coffee shops / cafes can ruin your experience with an underwhelming coffee ,-) if u know, u know... What can i say? If you sont believe or trust me , look at the photos here, like and subscribe, and most importantly come and pay a visit !”

“Steak sandwich and English breakfast were ok… they are all halal (except the ham, so just be weary on menu) but the PANCAKES, o m g the pancakes were the best pancakes I’ve ever tried. I would 100% recommend. I loveeeeeed the flavour (I think it was vanilla berry cheesecake). But i would definitely recommend yum. Has close by on street parking too so that’s a bonus. Staff were friendly and nice too.”
