  “Impeccable food! Best chippy in Manchester. I tried Lee’s Chippy for the first time and it was unbelievably orgasmic, it genuinely was amazing. Proper traditional gravy and sausages, took me back to my childhood.”

  “Brilliant chippy! Been going for a while now, was introduced to it when I lived locally by a friend. Still go back even though I've moved away. Really great food, big portions and reasonable prices. Staff always happy to help, polite and smiley. Quick service. Always look forward to a meal from here, never been disappointed 👌”

  “The food is nice, the chips always feels perfectly cooked. The service is quick. The only criticism I have is that they only take cash payment. Especially in an age wjere digital / card payments is mainly used. But there is a ATM cash machine just 2 minute walk at the small ASDA shop.”

  “This is a fantastic chippy and it's refreshing to find one that can actually cook great Chinese food. I normally have either the Salt & Pepper Ribs or S&P Chicken , with Singapore Vermicelli . The chips are always spot on my only criticism would be the curry sauce isn't for my liking . It's always busy and they also take telephone orders , but it's cash only and no deliveries , because they don't need to . Would strongly recommend.”

  “I have eaten from this Chippy for over 25 years, never complained and the service and food has always been impeccable. Ordered a couple of chippy dinners and some salt and pepper chicken pieces for the kids. Arrived at home and there was only 5 salt and pepper chicken pieces in the whole tub. Believing this to be no more than a mistake I rang the chippy. The lady stated that the pieces are always counted and that there should have been 12. I again reiterated that there was not and then a man could be heard in the background speaking in mandarin and the lady kept on repeating that there should have been 12 pieces in the tub. After a few minutes of to-ing and throwing, I was asked what I wanted them to do and I said that the kids would like the other half of their dinner please. To which the man in background said something else and I was told by the lady that when I order again, they would give us a larger portion. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I am totally disappointed at the lack of customer service and the unwillingness of the staff to rectify the situation. Why on earth would anyone order again to get more chicken pieces when in the first instance, your children now haven't had the meal that we had paid for. Why is it so difficult to admit that you may have made a mistake. I'm not in the business of ripping someone off for 7 poxy chicken pieces but clearly they are. Will not be ordering from here again, which is unfortunate as I like their gravy.....”
