Customer Review Summary
Sweetcorn fritters draw the most specific praise, one diner loving the red pepper sauce and the huge stack, though another found the relish underwhelming and the avocado sparse. Close behind are a mushroom and egg focaccia with huge, flavourful mushrooms, a salmon and egg sourdough with coriander pesto, and a french toast with compote that eats more like cake than toast. Several call the coffee good or excellent, and a liquorice and elderberry tea comes in a pot good for about three cups. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, patient and accommodating, and families note the café welcomes children and pets. Complaints centre on value and consistency. Extra halloumi arrived as three thin slices, one toast was rock hard, an add-on order brought one rosti instead of the listed two, and a maple granola bowl lost its maple syrup despite a price rise. One regular describes a long Saturday wait, then being ignored and fetching their own condiments.

“Always my go to!! My absolute favourite place to eat and drink in Altrincham. The staff are incredible, they go above and beyond and are so so helpful. The food is always fresh, great quality and so flavoursome. They change the menu every so often and I get excited that I’ll be able to try new things! Thank you so much, your customer service, food and atmosphere is on point!”

“After researching places in the area for brunch we were drawn in by how good the food looked on their Instagram. We were handed menus when we walked in, no instruction of how to order. I chose the sweetcorn fritters served with relish and added halloumi. My friend had the English halloumi. For the £5 I paid for extra halloumi I was shocked at how thinly it was sliced and 3 small pieces, I have attached a photograph with a piece of sweetcorn next to it for scale. My friends toast was thin and had the texture of a crouton, rock hard. Her dish was named halloumi and again she had 3 tiny slices. The photographs look great but it's just proof that looks can be deceiving! Hardly any avacado and the "relish" was just a tin of sweetcorn emptied under the fritters. Very disappointing. Nobody cleared our plates even though staff members walked past repeatedly. The coffee was good.”

“Amazing food and very patient staff. Great place to go if you have a little one given the hustle and bustle keeps them entertained and the staff are so accommodating and friendly / patient. We always show up without a booking and will be seated within 30 minutes or so. Shout out to Hannah and the bar staff for being brilliant.”

“Fantastic brunch spot! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour easily one of the best brunches I’ve had in a long time. The coffee was excellent, and the menu had plenty of choice without being overwhelming. Staff were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed but lively. A great place to catch up with friends or enjoy a lazy weekend brunch. Highly recommended!”
