  “Ok , finally i made it and came to try it every day when i decided to come its full so you need to book in advance at lest 2 day before I was surprised to be honest didnt expect will be that good , i liked everything service, seating, food and dessert Only the burger was little bit too fatty for me but the rest of the food was great and the cheese cake is a must to try also nancy cake with wipped butter is so good.”

  “This place is exceptional! Everything was great, we did not have reservation and we still managed to get a table after 10 minutes, we were offered something to drink while we waited. The food was amazing, everything we ordered was spectacular, really all of the dishes left me mind blown. The service was very friendly and professional. The place is amazing and has a great vibe.”

  “I'm conflicted here because Nancy's Hustle has been a favorite for some time, but this last visit was disappointing. Nancy's corn cakes were still delightful, and the cocktails were really good. We ordered the octopus, and duck dumplings, the dumplings were tasty, but the octopus was pretty bland and needed seasoning. We asked for some lemons and that heloed. We also tried the hazelnut marjolaine, and even though it looked beautifull, it was unpleasantly salty and bitter. Sadly, it was a disappointing visit.”

  “Went with a group of four so we were able to try most of the menu. This place is so friggin’ good, every dish was delicious. The cheeseburger lives up to the hype, it’s crispy and juicy and the English muffin bun works so well. Definitely one of the best cheeseburgers in Houston. The lamb dumplings and croquettes are must orders. The pickle party is fun and the asparagus is so over the top in the best way. The Nancy cakes get talked up a lot in reviews, but they really are worth an order. The cakes melt in your mouth and the rich butter mixed with smoky roe really puts them over the top. Really enjoyed how tasty and juicy the chicken was. Don’t skip dessert, the marjorlaine was delightful. They also have a kickass cocktail menu you should explore. The interior is so well decorated and vibey, and the service is fantastic. Nancy’s Hustle is one of the best restaurants in Houston and one everyone should experience.”

  “We started with a small mishap but it was quickly fixed and the situation redirected for the better. THE FOOD HERE IS PHENOMENAL. I’ve been to many restaurant this year and the food AND prices are better here. All the workers look like they like each other too lol. The Nancy cakes are even better than the hype. Lamb dumpling FLAVOR BOMB. That chicken is something to write home about. Please patronize this place! I’ll definitely be back!”

  “Very popular place. We visited on a Sunday evening. Made reservations. Overall food is good but a bit too salty for my personal taste, might be ok for others. Other than the vegetarian options on the menu, they can also make some offers vegetarian if you ask, which is very helpful. Good desserts. Delicious cocktail. Super attentive and helpful staff.”

  “Cheeseburger and beef fat fried rice were out of this world good! 🤤😋 Nancy cakes were fluffy, hot pockets of goodness with creamy, soft butter and chives. I ordered the parm cheesecake and I wasn’t a fan. I had to take 4 to 5 bites to decide how I felt about it and realized it didn’t have a crust. I sat at the bar and wanted to order a drink, but passed, because they were filled with way too much ice and one of the bartenders was putting crushed ice in his palm, crushing it with a spoon to break it up and then putting it in the drinks he was making which I thought was extremely unsanitary! 🦠🦠”

  “After dining at Nancy’s Hustle several times over the past year, I figured it was finally time to share my thoughts. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Houston, and without a doubt one of my favorite spots in the East End. From the moment you walk through the door, it’s clear that Jason and his team genuinely care about the experience they create. Every member of the staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, making each visit feel personal and memorable. Their passion for hospitality is matched only by the care and intention behind every dish that leaves the kitchen. Over the course of several visits, I’ve had the chance to try a wide variety of dishes, and there are a few that continue to stand out. The cheeseburger is simply exceptional. Served on a pillowy-soft brioche English muffin, every bite strikes the perfect balance. The crunch of the pickles, the richness of the beef, and the soft, buttery bread come together in perfect harmony. The duck dumplings with duck fat chili crisp are another standout, packed with incredible depth of flavor. One of the most memorable seasonal dishes I’ve had, however, was the leeks and carrots dressed in an Earl Grey vinaigrette. It was elegant, fresh, and unlike anything I’d tasted before. I still find myself thinking about it. You truly can’t go wrong with any of the sides. The hand-cut potatoes with aioli are perfectly crisp and satisfying, while the beef fat sticky rice with crispy shallots is deeply comforting and full of flavor. If it’s your first visit, the Nancy Cakes are an absolute must. The combination of whipped butter and honey with smoked trout roe and fresh chives creates an unforgettable balance of sweet and savory that perfectly represents the creativity of the kitchen. And finally, dessert. The Parmesan cheesecake with cracked black pepper and honey remains my favorite dessert I’ve ever had. It may sound unconventional, but that’s exactly what makes it so special. The flavors are beautifully balanced, and it’s a dish I recommend to anyone willing to trust the process. Nancy’s Hustle has become much more than just a restaurant to me. It’s a place that consistently delivers thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that celebrates the best of Houston’s dining scene. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve had there and for the people who continue to make each visit so memorable. Thank you to Jason and the entire team for being such a positive part of our city’s culinary community. I look forward to many more meals to come.”
