  “I’ve been a customer of this beautiful restaurant for a long time, and once again, after going to court with my boss, this Friday we stopped by for dinner. We had a reservation for 5:45 PM, but arrived about 30 minutes early. There were around 15 empty tables available, and the host who greeted us said our table would be ready in 5 minutes. When I came back after 5 minutes, she told me that all the tables were reserved — even though many tables outside in the back were completely empty. I explained that my boss is diabetic and needed to sit down and eat something, so we went to the bar. Unfortunately, the service at the bar was just as disappointing. The two bartenders (one Latino and one American) completely ignored us while chatting with other customers as if nobody else was there. I had to repeatedly ask to be helped, while the other bartender continued ignoring us altogether. I found it extremely disrespectful. Meanwhile, there were about six employees standing around the bar talking and laughing as if they had nothing to do. After waiting 45 minutes, we finally got our table, and the host then came over to tell us that our reservation had been mistakenly canceled. I don’t know if the management has changed or if the restaurant now has incompetent staf they are very slow, but this level of service is unacceptable for a restaurant like Perch.”

  “Had a fantastic experience at Perch in downtown LA celebrating a private birthday party on the terrace. The setting really delivers—elevated views, great ambiance, and a lively but still intimate vibe that works perfectly for a group event. The set menu was well executed across the board, and the filet was a standout—perfectly cooked and easily the highlight of the meal. On the drinks side, the Penthouse Passion cocktail was a clear crowd favorite and definitely worth ordering. Service was smooth and well-coordinated given the size of the group, which isn’t always easy to pull off. Valet was convenient at $17.50, making arrival and departure hassle-free. Overall, Perch is a strong choice if you’re looking to host a memorable event in DTLA with great food, solid cocktails, and a standout atmosphere.”

  “Wonderful, sort of hidden gem in downtown Los Angeles. Two elevator rides through a beautiful foyer and building to this indoor and outdoor rooftop bar with wonderful views great service and great food. The sliders and the truffle fries and Icelandic beer were all absolutely delicious and a treat on a hot summers day. Great friendly staff and beautiful Vibe.”

  “Was seated for a drink and it was good.so good that I forgot to take a picture! It was not too strong and not too sweet. The views outside are really pretty and I can see it being better at night. You do have to take two small elevators to get to the top so be prepared to wait in a line if it is busy.”

  “3.5 if I balance ambience and brunch food score. Ambience is 10/10. If you want brunch with a view, live music, and just feels immersed in a nice space. great spot for that. We did a reservation for 4 at 12:45 pm, table was available upon full party arriving. Food itself wasn’t life changing. I had what felt like a whole potato for my hangover burger (not what it’s called in the menu but what it is as its core) and I love a potato but also would have appreciated a different side or two smaller sides than that amount. Service took a bit longer getting drink refills, bar orders sent out. We closed out and went upstairs to the rooftop lounge / bar area for one additional round before carrying on with the day. Again, for ambience, great choice. Brunch wise if food is THE priority, there are other options.”

  “Great atmosphere my Nephew rented a side of the venue for 50 people and the finger foods were ok and the drinks and bartenders were on point so was the rest of the staff big shout out to the staff and crew. Been here before but this time it was more intimate as we celebrated an engagement.”
