Other named dishes that draw consistent praise include the Maestro sandwich, the Rochelle Rochelle, the Bosco, the porchetta, the steak sandwich, the Caesar salad, and the stuffed rabbit with greens. Reviewers repeatedly describe the food as fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with the focaccia bread singled out as a standout across the menu. “Amazing food amazing service. I visited AZ for my birthday and the last day of the trip I wanted to go to first and last and they didn’t disappoint. The vibes were amazing, the workers were great. The workers surprised me with a birthday …”

“You have to visit this spot for lunch! Two colleagues and I stopped by while we were in town for a conference, and everything we tried was fantastic. We ordered the Little Jerry, the Maestro sandwich, and the Caesar salad. The Little Jerry was definitely my favorite, absolutely delicious. The focaccia bread was incredible, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the chicken was tender and juicy. I also loved the fresh Parmesan on top. It was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The Caesar salad was also one of the best I’ve ever had. The dressing was perfectly done and full of flavor. The service was fast, and while they do have a self-service water station, it honestly fits the casual vibe of the place and worked well. If you’re in the area, you have to try this place. I only wish I had one closer to home!”

“Tik Tok made me try First and Last out, and I was not disappointed! 5 of us shared 3 sandwiches. We ordered the Rochelle Rochelle, the Little Jerry and the Bosco. Every sandwich was memorable and mouthwateringly delicious. My personal favorite was the Little Jerry, the vodka sauce was tangy and perfectly paired with mozzarella, but the true star of this sandwich is the pesto. It tasted like they picked the basil and made the pesto fresh to generously spread onto the crunchy, beautifully textured, fresh focaccia bread. It was exquisite. There is no doubting that every ingredient is fresh and that each sandwhich we had was made with flavorful intent. The vibe of the restaurant was effortlessly cool and inclusive, anchoring the downtown social scene. I am eager to return to try the dinner menu.”

“Saw this spot pop up on my socials and had to try. I was not disappointed. FYI lunch is open seating. I went on Sunday around 1 and was able to sit. I ordered the little Jerry and it was delicious. The portion size is great and super filling. The price is a little high for a sandwich but I would still buy it again. I only have 2 complaints. First, the sandwich was colder I thought it would be. I assumed it would be warmed up. Thats on me though. Second, it took staff a little longer then I expected to clean the surrounding tables. They looked pretty well staffed so I was a bit surprised it took them as long as it did to clear certain tables. They also have these green velvet material chairs that once the table had gotten cleared still had cheese all over them. Overall I thought the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great.”
