About Carcara

Carcara is a restaurant in Phoenix at 320 N 3rd St, where the menu is built around shareable plates and a casual bar setting. Much of its character comes from a compact lineup of approachable dishes that lean into bold flavors and familiar bar-food staples. The Pork Belly is one of the standout plates on the menu, while the Buffalo Cauliflower anchors the shareables as a popular pick, and the Cotton Candy appears as a distinctive offering among the mains. Mains are listed in a moderate price range, and the total selection covers 26 dishes, giving diners a broad spread of options without an oversized menu. Reservations are advised during peak hours, and the layout suits small groups looking to order several plates across the table.

Customer Review Summary

Diners consistently single out the atmosphere as a defining draw, describing the space as beautiful, spacious, and gorgeous with high ceilings and great decoration, with several noting the patio as the best place to take it in. The buffalo cauliflower and the Ancho Chili Braised Beef Tacos come up repeatedly as standout dishes, alongside the Painted Desert cocktail and the Aperol Spritz, and one reviewer highlights the guacamole and power bowl as delicious and beautifully presented. Service draws praise across many reviews, with guests describing staff as friendly, attentive, and efficient, and managers sometimes stopping by tables to check in. A few reviewers flag uneven experiences: one calls the Al Pastor Meatballs and Adobo Shrimp bland and overpriced, another says the Branzino fell below expectations for the price, and a couple note long waits for food, including one group that waited an hour on each of two visits.

Better for atmosphere on the patio. If you’re staying at the Sheraton, the free breakfast fo Platinum/Titanium is imho not worth it, I’d stick with the points and grab breakfast is the club. The setup was inefficient as they have a tiny area set up in a U shaped section that created a long line.

Delicious food, great ambiance and welcoming staff. I stopped in with a few girlfriends for a quick brunch this past weekend. We were sat immediately and greeted by our waiter right away. He was friendly, provided great recommendations for food and drinks. My burger was prepared beautifully. It was juicy and flavorful. All of the other food was good as well. The drinks were great as well! I would absolutely revisit to try their other selections.
