  “It's gotta be said, this place is magnificent. I'll start with the general atmosphere, I've never seen a place blend casual with formal so well. Walking in I thought I might be underdressed ( I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt) but I soon found that the vibe was lending to either fancy or casual. The various art installations in the restaurant are unique and like nothing I've ever seen. I'm not giving any spoilers because it's a must see! Time to get to the most important part, the food. I ordered the airline chicken and the meatballs both were so delicious that the only word that can possibly describe them is PHENOMENAL! Our server was Bri, she was excellent, super attentive and offered fantastic recommendations. If you ever find yourself in downtown Phoenix, Hanny's is a must.”

  “Lauren Treated us exceptional tonight. It was my first weekend here in Phoenix and she made me feel like I was a regular. The food was outstanding. Really recommend a margarita pizza with hot honey.”

  “We have loved hanny’s for years. It’s a go to spot for when I go out with both my husband and my girlfriends. Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere. We were there recently to sadly find out that our absolute favorite menu item was taken off- the Bianco pizza. PLEASE bring it back!”

  “Hannys is my favorite restaurant in DT PHX. I frequent there for some of the food and of course martinis. I went in this week on Monday and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. Great vibes as usual. I regularly order the airline chicken. Many times have I had leftovers due to the great portion. This week the plate was completely lacking. Seemed as if they ran out of ingredients. Looking back at other pictures of it in other reviews its definitely not in my head. Of course it still tasted great, but very little potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and sauce. Bummed to say the least I hope it was a fluke and next time will be better. The price is not worth it if the presentation is like this moving forward :(”

  “Hanna’s is unique and different with the dolls in the basement and neon bathrooms on the second floor. The food and alcohol were good. The steak sandwich with the fried egg and sidewinder fries was tasty.”

  “Immediately upon being seated we were told certain items were not available that night due to an issue with the grill. That significantly shrank the menu and I was ready to walk but the rest of the party was content, so we stayed. I didn't see much I wanted so I went with the steak sandwich. Under normal circumstances that sandwich should have bacon and an egg on it. Due to the grill issue both of those items were unavailable. My girlfriend asked the waiter if the sandwich would be cheaper since items that the restaurant normally includes were not included. Our waiter said they would check with the manager and get back to us. When the bill arrived we were told the manager wasn't willing to adjust the price since we knew about it prior to ordering. We were not asking for discount because the order was wrong, why do we have to pay full price for an sandwich that doesn't contain all the ingredients. I would have been fine if the answer was a free beverage, a dollar of, anything. Nowadays customer service isn't priority. Moved to Phoenix a year ago, was told by a lot of locals to check this place out due to the "vibe". Checked it out won't be back. Eating out costs too much these days to begin with. I'm spending my money where I'm valued.”

  “The department store vibe was there. The bathroom mirrored hallway was unique. Dimily lite bathrooms on the second floor. Stairs and elevator accessible. Quick trip to another set of stairs off the front door lead to the basement dolls. …”

  “It was recommended to us by our hotel, so we tried it. My salad 🥗 was delicious and fresh, but unfortunately, my husband's pizza🍕 was not a pizza🍕, but a flatbread 🫓 The service told us that it is normal in Arizona which is total nonsense. We just wanted a nice Italian pizza🍕. Of course, it's Neapolitan style thin but still not flatbread 🫓.”

  “This place is so cool! Once a mens department store now a restaurant..the basement now a little creepy with dolls in front of a wishing table could easily be made into a speakeasy! With a main dining area that has a wicked cool Mannequin made of leftover items from the store. Plus, my fav, the elevator shaft thats a kaleidescope! Then you go upstairs to a retro little bar and funky bathrooms! The food is amazing! The drinks are great. The staff rocks. Love this place a must see.”
