Customer Review Summary

Reviewers consistently praise the margaritas and tacos, with the al pastor taco singled out as a standout, alongside the chicken asada and shrimp tacos. The chips and salsa, particularly the roasted tomato salsa and the trio of house tomatillo, chile de arbol, and salsa fresca, receive repeated praise for their freshness and flavor. The elote and carne asada plate are also frequently mentioned highlights. Service is repeatedly described as friendly and energetic, with the vibrant, plant-filled decor adding to the experience. A few reviewers note that the Hamburguesa de la Casa was disappointing, describing the patties as tasting pre-made and lacking a fresh, seared texture, while one found the nachos had an off topping-to-chip ratio. Several mention that parking can be difficult to find.

This has to be some of the best Mexican food in downtown Phoenix. The chips and salsa started off strong- fresh all around and I enjoyed all three salsas. My wife enjoyed the asada plate, which was not only delicious but a great value. My shrimp taco was cooked perfectly, and the barbacoa was moist and flavorful. However, the best taco was the apson with carne asada- I would return for this alone! Everything was so well-prepared and detail-oriented. I didn’t love my cucumber cocktail but would eagerly try something else next time. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend!!

I do my research before going to restaurants and was curious about this place due to the high volume of good reviews. I wonder if they are paying people to write them or if they are made by bots. …
