Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the noodle bowls, with the gochujang pork ramen praised for tender pork, a silky broth and charred sweetcorn, and a prawn-chicken ramen described as flavorful. Close behind are the vegetarian pad thai, the katsu curry and the vegan chilli squid, which one reviewer says is hard to tell from the original, with several noting plenty of options for dietary requirements. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful, service is described as quick, and one reviewer liked paying at the table. Kids meals suited one family. The main complaints concern value and execution. One diner left hungry and found the drinks expensive, citing a can of Coke Zero, while another received a click and collect chicken ramen with only about two tablespoons of broth. One reviewer found the Korean fried chicken bao missing the sauce and mayo, and another was told the kitchen had already closed when they wanted to order more shortly before closing. Lunchtime can get busy, though the food still impressed that reviewer.

“First timers, and while the food was good, I still left hungry. The staff were lovely and explained the premise well. The overall price was too high and the drinks options are diablocly expensive. (£4.10 for a std 330ml can of coke zero!) Likely not be back as there are better (and more budget) options.”

“It can get busy specially during lunch service but the food was great.”

“My usual go to at Wagamama is mushroom yaki soba, I do like ramen, but find it can be quite messy to eat (drink) and so opt for teppanyaki noodles instead. As I had time, I decided I would go down the ramen route and chose the gochujang pork ramen. The ramen was gochujang pork, ramen noodles, a silky chicken broth, charred sweetcorn, pea shoots, spring onion and a tea-stained egg. This was rather lovely. The pork was very tender and full of flavour. I really enjoyed the broth, which was as described was silky and smooth. I did enjoy the flavour of the charred sweetcorn as well. A delicious bowl of food and something I would order again in the future. Normally if I have bao buns at Wagamama I go for the mushroom buns, this time though, being different, I went with the Korean fried chicken bao buns. These are two steamed buns, stuffed with crispy fried chicken. According to the menu description, they are supposed to include pickled rainbow slaw, gochujang sauce and yuzu mayo. I think mine were missing the sauce and the mayo. I think they needed that.”
