Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the desserts, with tiramisu and Italian-style puddings praised as delicious, alongside authentic Italian mains in generous portions. Close behind are the lobster pasta, the prawn nduja starter, the crab soup and a ribeye cooked medium rare, plus prawns and swordfish from a newly changed menu. Reviewers describe friendly, helpful staff and quick service even on packed evenings, and several call the bill reasonable for the amount of food. Cocktails, a broad wine list and a limoncello that tasted like the ones in Italy come up too. The sharpest complaint concerns a takeaway order: a beef strip pizza with sparse topping, sundried tomatoes with no flavour and chewy garlic bread with little garlic, from a reviewer who had enjoyed dining in many times. Others mention a table directly beneath a speaker where the music was loud, and a wrong dessert that was swiftly fixed. One couple celebrating an anniversary were given complimentary prosecco.

“We visited for our anniversary dinner after being recommended this restaurant, and we had such a lovely evening! The food was absolutely delicious, and all the staff were exceptional — so welcoming, attentive and friendly throughout our visit. We also very much enjoyed our complimentary prosecco, which was such a lovely touch! We didn't catch the name of the waiter who looked after us, but he seemed to be George's long-lost twin, which gave us a little giggle! 😂 We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend this restaurant to others. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so special!”

“Dined in many times without an issue, great food and great service - however the take away was a different experience. The beef strip pizza was sparse of any topping, very limited beer, and sundries tomato’s offering zero flavour what’s so ever. The garlic bread had seen limited garlic and was extremely chewy, again offering limited flavour. I am confident it any front or house staff could see what they were bringing to us to take away they’d be ashamed to have served it.”

“absolutely fantastic. Went as an early birthday meal for my dad. I had the Prawn nduja for starters and it was fantastic. Then i had the lobster pasta for mains and it was so good i forgot to take a photo before tucking in! The wine selection was broad, we settled for a nice rosé and then before our dessert we had a bit of liquor. my limoncello reminded me exactly of the ones i had in Italy. We had a little mix up with the desserts- it happens. one of them was not what we had ordered, however it was swiftly fixed and dealt with very professionally. The service was fantastic and the tiramisu was delightful. Thank you to all the staff who made our night Would reccomend and will definitely be returning”

“Great food... Authentic too with a little twist. You pay for what you get. Don't be put off by the car park and the walk into the place... We were a bit worried as one side of the restaurant on the outside looks a bit run down especially with a rusty bike chained up outside.. not what you'd expect... but people may cycle to work which I love... But inside is lovely. Was a little noisy but no fault of the resteraunt. Service was quick as it seemed busy... but we were not rushed. Food was very good and well presented. Would recommend.”

“Visited for my wife’s birthday, with our daughter joining us from London. The restaurant was very busy, but we were seated promptly and our orders were taken without delay. Our mains arrived beautifully presented and tasted even better. The food was authentic Italian, full of flavour, and the portions were very generous. We finished with Italian-style puddings, which were equally delicious. The bill for three was surprisingly reasonable considering the quality and amount of food we had. We will certainly return and would highly recommend this restaurant. The only minor issue was that our table was positioned directly underneath a speaker, so the music was a little loud at times. Other than that, an excellent experience.”
