“We came here as a group of 9 for a birthday and the service was impeccable. You pay for what you get in this place. The food was delicious but the only let down was we were hit with a £55 service charge…. Without confirming if this was okay, payment was made by my partner who was unaware as the check was at the other end of the table. As much as this was a lovely meal, we would’ve much rather left cash for tips (which would go straight to the amazing servers) rather than being charged this fee. Once we left it was the one thing that let the meal down and the thing everyone discussed.”
