  “De passage a York pour nos vacances, nous avons trouvé ce restaurant et nous y sommes rendu sans réservation, nous y avons été tres bien accueillis. Le personnel très sympathique à fait son possible pour comprendre notre mauvais anglais et nous avons beaucoup rit ensemble de nos erreurs. La cuisine etait excellente, nous nous sommes régalé. Un petit soucis avec un dessert trop cuit, je n’avais rien dit car nous passions un très bon moment, mais dès que la serveuse s’en est aperçue, elle en a parler au cuisinier qui s’est empressé de venir s'excuser et de m’en refaire un, j’ai trouvé ca particulièrement gentil et professionnel. En bref c’est un endroit magnifique, un personnel vraiment gentil, sympathique et pro. Si nous retournons a York nous y repasserons sans hésiter.”

  “For a busy restaurant with a lot of cover the servers did amazing and the food was equally as good. Thanks you for a perfect night and the best lamb cutlets I’ve ever had. And being short staffed you wouldn’t have noticed. Thanks you.”

  “Fantastic place, staff are wonderful, very knowledgeable about all items on menu, Food is just phenomenal, one of the chefs "Panos" who we had to get out of the kitchen to thank him personally for such a wonderful meal, The service fantastic, cannot recommend enough.. you will not be disappointed. We shall return without hesitation.”

  “Walked in to a lovely staff member who seated us after a few minutes lovely atmosphere got drinks straight away, waited 20 minutes for someone to ask what we wanted then waited just under an hour for food (one table had had starters and mains by this time) we didnt think much of it as we didnt reserve the table Food came i ordered penne arribiatta which is obviously chilli and spicy and my other half ordered some kind of meat combo thing. Pasta was so bland no chilli at all in it tasted like crushed tomato and was not much of it Meat is overcooked and full of fat garlic bread was lovely cant fault that my partner is a big meat lover and he said it was the worst he had. And I know my pasta and it was awful. Can't fault the waitress she was so kind and lovely which makes it hard to complain and we had been out in York centre all day and just wanted a meal before going back to our hotel I got up and left and my partner paid the bill which was 80 odd pound not being funny but miller and Carter is slightly the same price and their food is unbelievable wont be visiting here again when in York really sad and disappointed.”

  “First time in York and we stumbled into this amazing restaurant! We didn't have a reservation but were greeted with a smile and welcomed in. The food was delicious, authentic and not a long wait. The ambiance was calm, friendly and warm. Also, you don't want to skip dessert, just gorgeous! The place was very clean all-round, including the toilets with is a must.”
