“We phoned in advance and stayed for two nights in the pub's carpark in our campervan. The owner and staff were really helpful and friendly. It was good to be able to have a choice of vegetarian dishes, including Sunday lunch. A further plus point for us was the lack of televisions which made conversation so much easier. A lovely traditional village pub inside and out.”

“Came in with a group of friends and was made to feel uncomfortable due to the type of drink ordered. Bartender seems to only want to serve people who buy alcohol and people who order non-alcoholic drinks are publicly berated. Dont go here if you just want a lime and soda as the barman will tell you "if I was feeling picky I'd make you order something else". Won't be ordering anything ever again - cheers! 🥂”
