  “The old lady was rude - not too sure what’s her issue. Old couple with some attitude problems. Didn’t enjoy the pint here at all as they were being weird. BIG AVOID. would give -10 stars if can”

  “I stay at the Edinburgh Arms in York every year with friends and we always have a good time. The rooms are comfortable, and the pub downstairs has such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Great location and consistently excellent.”

  “Joined in with a quiz, good fun. Nearly 2/3 answers, which is fine. Afterwards a complimentary buffet! Proper cash prize, and not to the winner, but instead a random winning. Well attended.”

  “We went in as a family as they had a pool table and my 9 year old is pretty good. Used the contactless payment to pay on the wall and proceeded to play. My son played well and is really sensible and careful on the tables, we went to play another and the bar man said thats enough and said its over 18s only which it doesn't say near the contactless payment. So we finished our poor pints and left.”

  “The Edinburgh Arms is a large two roomed pub. There is a pool table in the bar. There is John Smith's bitter, but sadly, no cask conditioned real ales. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there is regular live music Saturday Sunday and Thursday. There is outside seating at the front and back of the pub.”
