  “Can book a table, and recommend you do, it's always busy in York. Had a lovely couple of hours here catching up with a friend over a bottle of wine and sharing board. Weren't chased off the table. Staff really lovely. Wine was superb.”

  “I was walking by and stopped here to have a tea, and loved it. The place, the service, the atmosphere is amazing. The kitchen was closed and even though we got a delicious house bread warm & dip. It was perfect.”

  “Spent a couple of hours here on 28 May in the afternoon, drinking wine and having one of the meat plates. A really very nice wine bar with friendly staff, decent grub, and an excellent range of wines (all laid out on a massive chalkboard on one wall). Open-plan layout with plenty of light, and within easy reach of anything central in York. Perhaps a bit pricey, but I suspect it's on par with similar establishments in the city. I would certainly come here again, and recommend the English white wine they had, which was a pleasant surprise (I think it was called Davenport).”

  “Stopped in for a glass of wine around 9pm. Found it disappointing that for a wine bar they only offered 3 white or red by the glass. For a wine bar they should really offer a few more options by the glass options. If there were more options by the glass I would return, but for 3 options I probably wouldn’t not.”

  “What a gem of a find. Stumbled upon this spot randomly and so thankful we did. Such a cozy, cool, fun vibe. Could've sat there all day enjoying the wine and atmosphere. On top of that, the staff were so friendly, warm, and inviting. Highly recommend. Ps, do yourself a favor and get the mulled wine if they have it while you're there. The best I've ever had! 💛”

  “Oh my word where do I start? What a wonderful place to visit. We were stopping off for pre drinks before visiting the Grand Opera House but we could have stayed here all night. Amazing selection of wines for all tastes and purses. Attentive staff. We will definitely be calling again when we visit York again. Stunning doesn't do this place justice in my opinion.”
