Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the friendly, attentive staff, with several describing individual servers as helpful, polite and warm, and one noting a walk-in group with a baby was seated in a quiet room. Close behind is the food, described as hot, fresh and delicious: scampi and chips, a chicken Parma called incredible, and a three-course restaurant week special menu with large portions. Others come for the afternoon tea, called plentiful and freshly made, and the bottomless brunch, where the drinks are described as very nice and one reviewer who disliked cheese was given a margarita pizza instead. Pina Coladas are called sweet and well presented. The complaints are few but specific. One group of six left after the doorman refused entry to a member wearing shorts and would not let them hand him a drink outside. Another reviewer found the scampi slow to arrive and the room loud at times. Two reviewers describe birthdays, one where staff helped decorate for a surprise afternoon tea and one where balloons were already waiting on the table.

“Such a lovely place, the food was stunning. Our server Julie was fantastic. Very polite and professional, Julie sat us in a quiet room although we were a walk in which was great as we had our baby with us. Will definitely be back again soon”

“We went as a group of 6 aged between 55 and 60 but I was first in bought a round of drinks for £41.00 whilst the others were making their way from the restaurant along the road. When we all got there 1 of our group had shorts on and the doorman wouldn't let him in. We tried to give him his drink outside but the doorman stopped that as well so we all left in the end. We went to 4 pubs in Yarm 3 were packed out with a good buzz about them and 1 wasn't. I wonder why? We were told about the wonderful sunny beer garden the Keys has. That will be interesting with a ban on shorts.”

“A quick bite, breakfast, a romantic dinner or family meal. Our restaurant can take bookings of all sizes, choosing from our seasonal main menu or our evening specials menu. The restaurant is contemporary but comfortable and flexible enough to deal with bookings for any occasion, ranging from family meals to wedding receptions. Our restaurant also extends outside onto our terrace, where we have a fully heated pergola. The garden now features a 55inch tv, which is proving even more popular all year round.”
