About Cece's Restaurant & Bar
Cece's Restaurant & Bar is a restaurant and bar at 53 Roman Rd in Middlesbrough. The seafood boil comes to the table with its own special seafood boil hat, which gives the dish a presentation of its own. Lobster pasta is on the menu, and the parmo appears in more than one form, including parmo croquettes. A specials board runs alongside the main menu, and the bar pours cocktails and Limoncello shots. The space is split into a restaurant area and a small bar area where sport is watched. When the restaurant is full, the bar area also has seating. Bookings can be made through Facebook Messenger.

Customer Review Summary
Lobster pasta is the dish reviewers raise most, called yummy and right up the alley of seafood lovers, with one reviewer recommending it outright. Close behind are the parmo, enjoyed on a Valentine's Day visit and in parmo croquettes, and the seafood boil, where one diner wore the special boil hat. Others name mussels with parmesan fries, tortellini, a short rib from the specials board and Limoncello cheesecake. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, polite and welcoming, and the atmosphere is called lovely, with a bar area for watching sport and a restaurant side that suits families. The main complaint comes from one mixed review: advertised cocktails were unavailable because a delivery had not arrived, three colas were sent back for tasting bad, the chicken parmo was called bog standard, and the decor felt overpowering, with a potted plant pressing into a diner's back. Another reviewer's cocktail was made by a bartender who was passionate about it.

“Came for lunch, my friends had been and their pictures looked fantastic. I wasn't disappointed on my visit. I had the Jevi Tortellini and my wife the Mussels (starter) with Parmesan Fries. The food was fresh and incredibly tasty, I'll certainly be coming back.”

“We visited as a group of four, with a big dog, quite late on a Tuesday evening. The food was lovely, we all finished every morsel on our plates and the young lad who served us was very attentive and polite, without being annoying! I would highly recommend the lobster pasta, yummy!”

“Nice quiet but strangely lively at the same time bar restaurant in Linthorpe. Great place to take your wife, girlfriend etc good for kids, small bar area lads can sit/stand watch the sport, a large restaurant area where you can go have a meal and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely give it a go, do not walk past.”

“Great food, reasonably priced, always enjoy the food whatever we have had. Varied menu to suit everyone. Quick service, lovely friendly staff, helpful and go out of their way to please. Lovely ambience even though it's also classed as a sports bar, it is still a lovely restaurant for families and all different occasions and isn't spoilt in any way. there's also seating in the bar area to ea if the restaurant is full. Good atmosphere, busy every weekend .”
