  “This place is incredible! Not to be confused with Calcutta 16 in Shoreham. Same company but different chefs. I've tried both and the Worthing branch is another level. Having travelled in India a fair bit I can confirm the regional dishes are authentic and full of the real flavours of their regions. Would highly recommend if you enjoy Indian food. (The Shoreham branch is average at best; go to Worthing).”

  “We had a great time, we'd never been here before but I'd heard so many great things. The food was superb and was already a very reasonable price before the first tables discount. The service was also great, we felt very looked after.”

  “WOW!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE SERVICE AND FANTASTIC CUISINE!!! 💯💯💯 Been having takeaway from here for a while, but decided to try eating in on a set menu for lunchtime, and all the food served was wonderfully made and was the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Couldn't finish it all, so was able to take it home in a box. Highly recommend and will definitely come in again soon. The onion bhaji, bhuna (veg & chicken), and peshwari naan was totally the finest Indian cuisine I've ever tasted!! Brilliant service! Thank you!!”

  “Tried several dishes and everything was excellent. The Chicken Chukka was full of flavour and perfectly spiced, and the vegetable samosa was crisp, fresh, and not oily. The authentic Kerala-style masala dosa was a real highlight — thin, crisp, and genuinely regional. The Chicken Chettinad was rich and bold, paired perfectly with pilau rice and garlic naan. All the bread is made in-house, and you can really taste the freshness. Proper flavours, great cooking, and clear attention to detail. Highly recommended”

  “Had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. Staff were very polite and attentive. Food was delicious. I had lemon chicken tikka as a starter which was tender and tasty. Then chicken malaya which was beautifully cooked, accompanied by pilau rice and a garlic naan. My partner had a hotter chicken curry again perfectly cooked, with an aloo gobi to share. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

  “We visited Calcutta 16 today and really enjoyed our meal. We had the chicken tikka masala, a spicy Jalfrezi, and the grilled mixed dish. Everything was tasty and full of flavour. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was friendly and attentive. A very good experience overall.”

  “Returning to Calcutta-16 Worthing after over a year was an absolute delight, and I'm thrilled to report that the quality and experience remain brilliant. The moment we walked in, the fantastic service and comforting atmosphere and Indian music instantly reminded us of the originality and warmth of food back home, a truly authentic taste of India. The standout dishes of the evening were magnificent. The Masala Dosa was a masterpiece: perfectly crisp, light, and wonderfully flavorful, just as it should be. The Tandoori Platter was equally impressive; every piece of meat was expertly cooked, succulent, smoky, and perfectly spiced. It’s rare to find such comforting consistency and Calcutta-16 delivers on all fronts. If you're looking for genuine Indian flavours and top-notch service in Worthing, this is the place to go.”

  “Ordered via their website, and it's cheaper than using other Food Apps. Food was packaged nicely and Owner manager was very polite and friendly on collection. Although the curry weren't the best we had, but it was good and fantastic value for money, most dishes were cheaper than other competitors.”
