About Sartorelli's Pizza
Sartorelli's Pizza is a wood-fired pizzeria in Witney, based at Unit F2 inside a nano brewery that brews its own beer on site. The pizzas are Neapolitan-style on sourdough bases, with pepperoni among the options, and gluten-free bases are also available. Because the brewery shares the premises, a range of its beers sits alongside the food on the drinks list, with wine and soft drinks for anyone who prefers them. The kitchen also serves homemade ice cream.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza is the main draw, with reviewers praising the wood fired, Neapolitan style bases as light, airy and crisp, topped with fresh ingredients and a good sauce. The pepperoni gets a specific mention, gluten-free bases are noted, and one diner says the kitchen will add a burrata they bring themselves. Close behind are the beers brewed on site, described as fantastic with plenty to choose from, and the homemade ice cream. Staff are mostly called friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor seating, where dogs are welcome, also gets praise. Complaints are fewer but specific. One diner on a busy Friday found the staff not particularly welcoming and the lager flat and cloudy. Another was quoted a short wait, waited far longer, and received soggy pizzas that had been forgotten, while neighbouring diners were given a free pizza and they were offered nothing. One reviewer says the pizzas are better eaten in than taken away, and another can never fit in the ice cream but always takes one home.

“Great pizza and hard working people. However it was only our second time and we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We had to wait over an hour and our pizzas were soggy because they’d been forgotten about. Really disappointed, something similar happened to the couple sat opposite us but they were given a free pizza and we weren’t offered anything.”

“Not only the pizza is incredible, but the service is friendly, easy going and very accommodating. Honestly, best pizza in the area by a mile. Neapolitan style done incredibly well and with honest ingredients. And if you bring your own ingredients to add (say, you want to add a burrata) they'll chuck it on it for you.”

“Sartorelli’s has been our favourite local pizza place for years and we’ve been back more times than we can count. The pizzas are always fantastic, especially the pepperoni, and they have a great selection of beers too. The service is consistently excellent and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. A particular shout out to Christian, who always looks after us and makes every visit enjoyable. They’ve even gone above and beyond for us in the past, organising and delivering a large pizza order for a birthday we were hosting at home, which was hugely appreciated. Great pizza, including gluten-free bases, great beer and genuinely lovely people. Always a pleasure coming here and easily one of our favourite local spots. Highly recommend!”

“This place is great . Pizzas are top notch , the brew is lovely and the ice cream, well I can never fit it in but always take one home.”

“Food: Pizzas were incredible! Fantastic dough, wonderful sauce and fresh toppings. Some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time! Service: We visited on a busy Friday evening so understand the challenges when a place gets as busy as it did, however the staff weren’t particularly welcoming or friendly. Beer: Had it not been for the beer, we probably would have given 4 stars overall. The lager was flat, cloudy and lacking in any flavour whatsoever. It looked like pond water and didn’t taste too dissimilar as well! Really disappointing.”
