  “Extremely disappointed with the service today at Unico Lounge. My 3 year old was served pancakes that were mouldy. After bringing this to the attention of the waitress she just took the place and said they will replace them. In the meantime my little girl had to sit and wait while others on the table eat their food. Other people in our party were served incorrect orders too with some having missing food on their order. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The customer service was shocking around these issues.”

  “Visited on a quiet Monday evening as a place to do some work. Had a tuna toastie after reviews said they were good but I was left disappointed by yhe sorry sandwich with very little tuna in it. Not great for the price. Table was regularly visited by ants. Staff were attentive and I noticed them cleaning a lot. Lounges have gone down in quality and up in price over the years. It's a shame as they were very good when they first opened.”

  “Just wanted to say that the young man, Dom, who was on the floor and on his own when several people and groups came in handled himself in a very calm, efficient and professional manner. Not once did he seem to get flustered but managed to serve everyone keeping a really comfortable atmosphere for all. Everyone looked happy and content. This whilst being on his own certainly to at least 1030 which is when I left. I did thank him just before leaving but felt you should know you have an excellent staff member there who, by his demeanour, promotes the lounge group so well. Specifically Unico. Thanks again Dom.”

  “We had a great event for our theatre club at Unico this lunchtime. We had about 40 people in the upstairs function room. The staff could not have been more helpful. In addition the food was lovely and came really quickly. Big thank you guys, we'll be coming back!”

  “The lounge chain have made it easy for me to eat out after developing a gluten intolerance. My wife and I travel around a lot so always being able to find a lounge is amazing. Eating out had become scary but I always feel safe eating at these places.”

  “I’ve visited Unico Lounge a couple of times now, located on Grove Street in Wilmslow town centre. It’s a fairly large Lounge, with two floors, including a rooftop terrace. I like the vibes of this place, with the artwork, lighting and decor, it feels like a nice place to spend some time, relax and grab a bite to eat or something to drink. I feel there is a strong family focus in this lounge, with children’s toys popular, so I prefer to sit out of the way on the upper floor when visiting here. I like how they have such a large space, where you can actually “get out of the way” so everyone can have an experience that’s right for them. Gluten-Free Menus are located on the table with an extensive selection. If you have an allergy, your food order will be taken at the bar, with the food arriving with a special flag to know it’s been taken care of. On my past two visits, I’ve ordered the Gluten-Free Lounge Breakfast. The food quality is generally pretty good, although I was let down with the eggs most recently; one had already busted, and there was some shell, although I understand cooking so many different items at once can be difficult. While the staff were friendly, I do feel the upstairs area can be slightly neglected at times. It would be nice to see staff members upstairs checking in more often, although I understand this can be busy, especially at peak periods. My food did take a long time to arrive, and my guests’ toasted teacake took even longer. She ended up going downstairs to check on everything as it felt like they’d forgotten about our order. All in all, a couple of small issues, but it is a good Lounge with a variety of seating to cater for everyone, and the prices are reasonable, and it is one of my favourite places to eat while in Wilmslow.”

  “We had a fantastic time here! It is rare to find a restaurant that is so genuinely catering to families. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, and we felt completely at ease letting the children play while we caught up. It felt very safe, and the vibe was perfectly chilled. A huge thank you to the staff, especially Sharon, who went above and beyond to make sure we were all well looked after. She really made our visit special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free meal with friends and kids.”

  “Brilliant eatery in the centre of the town. Great menu, from breakfasts through to lunch, diner and lots of nice desserts. Staff were lovely and friendly. Brilliant atmosphere in there from families to people doing some work on their laptops, plus the occasional dog, yes it’s dog friendly 👍🐾. Cosy and welcoming with plenty of seating. If you don’t want to eat just pop in for a coffee or cheeky pint 🍺 . Has something for everyone. Will definitely visit again, highly recommended”

  “We visited this place last night and we were greeted by a lovely lady(didn’t catch her name) the interior was so retro and so unique, i loved it. The menu offers so so much option, plus they had separate vegan and gluten free menus! I ordered the burger and fries, it was so amazing, i also ordered a side of mac and cheese and oh my god, that was heaven on a plate, it was delicious! Will definitely recommend going here! And will definitely be coming again! The doggie menu is also adorable!”
