  “Aesthetic place with amazing food. Everything was so flavoursome. The mixed grill was a very generous portion. The cookie dough was cooked to perfection and was spot on. Service was good with food and drink being served on time. Loved the interior design. Would highly recommend!”

  “Really enjoyed our meal here! The food was full of flavour and everything tasted delicious. The mocktails were amazing too — definitely a highlight! 🍹✨ The vibe was lovely, relaxed and chilled, making it a great place for a family meal, catching up with friends, or even a nice date night. The only thing I’d say could be improved slightly is the service. A few more general check-ins throughout the meal to see if everything was okay would have made the experience even better. Overall, a really nice, relaxed meal out with great food, lovely drinks and a great atmosphere. Would definitely visit again! 🤍”

  “Great service, food and drinks. We were so shocked at how fast the service was. The pina colada was genuinely the best I’ve ever had! (Edited it was in fact the RU special) The only critique I have is the truffle Parmesan fries need more truffle, as we didn’t get any of the truffle flavour. I believe our server was Chunda and she was amazing! Super friendly, welcoming and attentive! Will definitely be visiting again!”

  “RU was an absolutely amazing restaurant! The décor was so luxurious and beautiful, but what made it even better was that the food tasted sooo delicious. We’ve been to many places with stunning decorations where, unfortunately, the food doesn’t live up to the atmosphere, but RU was definitely not one of those places! Everything was amazing, from the starters and mains to the drinks. We even brought our own birthday cake, and they were super lovely about keeping it for us and bringing it out when we were ready. We also made quite a few requests throughout our visit, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating with every single one. Whenever we wanted pictures, they were more than happy to take them for us and did an amazing job! The hospitality and customer service were exceptional, especially from the two ladies who served us. I would definitely mention their names if I knew them because they were absolutely lovely! We were there for a while, and the staff were very accommodating throughout our entire visit. Overall, such a beautiful restaurant with amazing food, lovely staff, and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend RU and will definitely be returning!”

  “Travelled from Blackburn to Cheadle (around an hour's drive) to try Ru Restaurant & Lounge, and it was definitely worth the journey The décor is absolutely beautiful. It's quite a dark venue, but it really suits the vibe and creates a lovely atmosphere. The food was a solid 4/5 overall, but the standout for me was the Dynamite Chicken Loaded Fries, they were honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten and I'd highly recommend ordering them We also spent some time in the shisha lounge, which was aesthetically stunning. The shisha itself was really good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My only small suggestion would be to have something playing on the TVs in the lounge, as I think it would make the atmosphere even better The only other bit of feedback I'd give is that it would have been nice if a member of staff had checked in while we were eating to ask how the food was or if we needed anything, as we felt there wasn't really anyone around during the meal. It's only a small point, but I think it would really elevate the overall customer experience Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend Ru Restaurant & Lounge to anyone. Great food, a lovely atmosphere, beautiful décor, and a place I'd happily visit again”

  “Really enjoyed our meal at Ru. The mixed grill came out sizzling hot and everything was cooked really well. The chicken was juicy, full of flavour and the chips were crispy too. Mini chicken sliders were very nice, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Great food and a nice atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.”

  “Service was great! Servers were very attentive, without being intrusive. They took back and adjusted dishes to our requirements. Atmosphere and vibe was great, good if you wanna go with friends and take photos. The starters were great! Especially like the dynamite prawns and samosa chaat. However the dynamite chicken was very hard, hurt my teeth. Personally I wouldn't go back for the mains. Dishes labeled 'spicy' were less than mild. Pizza wasn't authentic Italian, if that's what you want, but still tasted good. Pastas were not flavourful, needed salt and if I'm being honest reminded me of airplane food. It says on the menu it comes with focaccia bread and salad. The bread that came was not focaccia and I had to remind them to bring the salad, which the servers did quickly so thank you. The Indian dishes were great though, but definitely would not go back for the 'Italian' pasta/pizza. I get they are supposed to have an indo mix but I didn't even taste that. Review from friends I went with; 'Everything was bland, dynamite sauce on prawns was not dynamite sauce just sliightly red mayo.'- Really liked the servers and atmosphere but won't be coming back just for the food- 2.5 stars for food.”

  “Went on my birthday, food was mediocre. Pasta had some weird bits in it but a dawg gotta eat. Lasagne was ok, mix grill was just like any other, mocktails were decent. Quality of the food doesn’t justify the price. Another one of them boujee places people go to look the part. They have a shisha lounge which is separate to the main eating area. Can’t really comment on the actual shishas because smoking is a low vibration activity. Wouldn’t say it’s family friendly more of a go with your mates or take her out on a date kinda vibe. Service was good, staff are friendly. Decent music with great atmosphere.”
