  “Excellent Dining Experience! We had a group of almost 20 people from different parts of the world, with a wide range of dietary requirements and food allergies. Iona did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of everyone’s needs and making sure everything was handled smoothly. Despite the complexity of managing so many different dietary requirements, the entire dining experience was seamless, stress-free, and very well organized. Iona was attentive, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout our meal. A big thank you to Iona and the team at Stolen Lamb for making our experience so enjoyable. It’s not easy to accommodate such a large and diverse group, but they handled it brilliantly. Highly recommended”

  “Great first time experience at The Stolen Lamb - have wanted to try this place for quite some time - we were not disappointed - the food was nice and atmosphere was buzzing (Saturday night). The one outstanding element of the whole evening however was the exemplary service provided by Daisy - she alone is a reason to return. She was friendly, engaging, provided personal service and have bumped into her since around Wilmslow - she could remember us and that meant a lot - she is an absolute asset and star! This restaurant is lucky to have an employee that, for someone so young, takes an active interest in her customers and understands how to make the customer feel special 👌”

  “Such a beautiful restaurant with great ambience and vibes! The food was delicious, decor is so lovely and we even got to break a plate! Daisy and Aldo were exceptional at hosting us and all the staff were so kind and friendly and accommodating. First time coming here and will definitely come back many more times!!”

  “At 3.00pm on 3rd April 2026, my fiancee took me for a Pre- birthday meal at the Stolen Lamb in Wilmslow. It genuinely feels like a hidden Greek gem right in the heart of Wilmslow, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a cosy, rustic vibe. The decoration is light and refreshing, and the calamari was easily one of the best I’ve had, the fish bait, fried prawns, were all so tasty and juicy, and full of flavour. We also shared the mixed grill platter and everything was cooked perfectly with bold, well-balanced seasoning. A lovely touch was being offered after the meal, which was a caramel ice cream with walnuts, with warm baklava, wow absolutely delicious. Excellent food, great hospitality, and attention to detail throughout. Would 100% return and recommend. Antonia was absolutely amazing, very polite, friendly, and extremely professional. Trust me, you will not find nicer Greek food, than the Stolen Lamb in Wilmslow, Cheshire.”

  “Amazing food, service and atmosphere! Would recommend to anyone! We came last night for our anniversary meal, and all staff members were so lovely and accommodating! I wish i had gotten the name of the two female waitresses that served us, as they both deserve a personal thank you! It was worth the service fee and more! The meat was phenomenal, and we both got so much of it on our main courses - the beef stew and bandit burger. Not one bad thing to say, keep up the amazing work and service!”

  “Lovely food, great waiters, great atmosphere. Was kept waiting when we arrived as the hostess was on the phone for long enough for us to start getting antsy (that was a bit rude). Automatic 10% service fee added which is not necessary- tips are for good service not to top up the wages bill, just be more honest about pricing. The ocean basket meze with black garlic mayo was the star, papoutsakia stuffed with beans were nice but not outstanding, xoriatiki (Greek salad side) was also nice but a bit wilted - made fresh would've made a world of difference. Lamb chops were delicious for mains but the lamb rack with skordalia for £35 again nice but not outstanding. The skordalia lacking some garlic oomph. Overall a nice meal and we would go back once more to taste other dishes. But over £100 for 2 meze, 1 side and 2 mains with 3 cokes to drink (no alcohol) was pricey.”

  “Really enjoyed our visit to The Stolen Lamb. It genuinely feels like a hidden Greek gem right in the heart of Wilmslow, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a cosy, rustic vibe. The Athenian Spritz was light and refreshing, and the chicken souvlaki was easily one of the best I’ve had. It was juicy, smoky and full of flavour. We also shared the mixed grill platter and everything was cooked perfectly with bold, well-balanced seasoning. A lovely touch was being offered a round of ouzo after the meal, which really added to the authentic feel. Great food, great hospitality, and attention to detail throughout. Would 100% return and recommend.”

  “Fantastic food - we both opted for the souvlaki. Great service and decor as well - the whole thing felt like an experience. Shout out for the Greek biscuit cheesecake - it was so good! Would definitely recommend and visit again”

  “We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The decor is lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was well cooked, tasty and there was plenty of it. Highly recommended. The only reason atmosphere is a low score is because we were there at 5pm and it was empty but they were fully booked for later so I would definitely suggest reserving a table.”

  “Booked a meal with family to celebrate Diwali - all I can say is the food and service was fantastic. We had the private dining room upstairs and we were well looked after. Antonia was very friendly and did everything to ensure we enjoyed the meal. Most of us had the banquet which is very good value and recommended.”
