  “Highly recommend dropping in for a Sunday roast or BBQ plate on a Friday. The chef really knows what he’s doing. Everything I’ve had was home made and delicious. This is a rare find to have home cooked food. The bar staff are top notch here too-and the service is fantastic.”

  “Had a meal here after a day out. We made the reservation for 8 of us at 5:30 on a Sunday. After seeing a post on Facebook saying the kitchen closed at 5pm we called to verify and the person we spoke to said we would still be able to eat as long as we pre-ordered our food which was very kind of them. We had 4 adults and 4 children and everyone had Sunday roasts (which were delicious). We also had pudding which although only a limited number of options, was again gorgeous. Along with the food and the lovely atmosphere, the staff were so fantastic! They were friendly, nothing too much trouble and just generally so sweet that it made us feel so comfortable and at home. Amazing food and service, huge thanks to everyone working on the 26th April! We'll definitely be back.”

  “Came on a Friday night for the first time, on my mission to find good places to eat, iwas surprised how quiet it was, came inside and the whole night the service was awful, the lass didn’t seem to want to be there, the food to me was slightly over salted but that could be down to preference but it was well presented and great otherwise! If there was a change in service staff i would return, unfortunately couldn’t have dessert because apparently the kitchen was closed, thought it was abit early in comparison to other places i have been, so wasn’t happy about that. Not a bad place though”

  “Lovely pub in a nice location. The food was excellent, good portions & really well presented. The interior of the pub is very traditional. The staff were friendly, helpful & polite. There is a good selection of beers. The menu isn't overly complicated, but it does give a varied choice.”
