“Lovely friendly place to stop by for a coffee and more. Only ate an almond croissant but the food they were prepping for a photo shoot looked v appetising. Toilet sparking down some stairs.”

“Post Roundhay Park run visit on Saturday morning . Great service and good food. Had the large fry up (homemade beans were the highlight) .”

“I wasn’t expecting to get food here but I saw the katsu Sando which was super delicious chicken cooked to perfection and the katsu sauce was lovely. (I’m not sure if it was proper Japanese sando bread but all the same it was nice) I got a pot of tea and a turmeric latte which were both really well made ( tea can be weak but it was a good strong brew) and to top it off the service was warm and welcoming. I was also super happy to find out that there is halal options on the menu which was a game changer!!! I found my new fave spot”

“Let's start with the good things - my child enjoyed the pancakes. Service was nice and attentive. Food arrived quickly. Coffee was nice, could be hotter. What could be improved- GF sausage/bacon butty was served in a store bought basic gluten free bread, so disappointing if you pay over £6 for a sanwich you can make yourself at home easily. It wasn't even GF breadroll which you would expect for a butty. Just sad, white and (as all the basic gf breads) sweet bread. There is GF bakery in Leeds and nice GF bread can be easily sourced.”

“House of Koko Oakwood is hands down one of the best brunch spots around. Super friendly from the moment you walk in, amazing coffee and drinks, and delicious food with loads of options to choose from. Always a great atmosphere, highly recommend!”

Customer Review Summary
Pancakes come up most, enjoyed by a child in one review and praised by another diner who also notes the vegan options. Close behind are the katsu sando with its katsu sauce, the large fry up with homemade beans as the highlight, and a cappuccino one reviewer calls the best they have had. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, and one diner was happy to find halal options on the menu. The complaints are specific. A gluten free sausage and bacon butty arrived on plain, sweet, store bought gluten free bread, which the reviewer found disappointing. Coffee was too acidic for one party and could be hotter for another. The room is described as loud and busy on a Saturday, and as somewhat dark and small, and one reviewer felt basic add-ons cost a bit much. One diner reports feeling nauseous after eating but was unsure the food was the cause. Dogs are welcome inside and out, and one reviewer says the staff always accommodate theirs.
