  “Staff is friendly but food was really bad (tasteless) and service was absent minded. I ordered and egg sandwich that seemed like a mayo sandwich with some hidden egg to be found. I also ordered a children's menu with chips and peas and I was only given chips. The girl who took my order also wrote the wrong number on my order so when they call for my food to be collected someone else got called instead of me(luckily another lady remembered it was me who placed the order and pass it to me).”

  “Popped in before a walk around the lake yesterday and was shocked to be charged £14.70 for a warm latte, an iced latte and a flapjack. When I asked for a breakdown, I was told the ice in the iced coffee is charged separately — something I wasn’t informed about before ordering. Not exactly the experience I expect when choosing to shop local. Very disappointing.”

  “Rather expensive and seating planning very poor, used to be better with smaller tables. We dont go in any more as sometimes the queue is very long and only one person there.”

  “Great food and a beautiful view while you eat. Clean and tidy and friendly staff. Free park yoga outside from 5th June 2024 9.30am every Sunday no need to book just turn up until September”

  “I was a bit disappointed with our visit here apart from the location. Two coffees and a sandwich came to around £12 which isn't cheap. It would have been OK if the cheese salad sandwich was a bit more "exciting". Indeed the cheese had been cut so thin that I thought it must have been done by a carpenter's plane, plus I like a bit of onion in my salad. The cheese on a Black Country Ales pub cob (at half the price) would last a week here. Service was rather slow but I guess we have to forgive them that given the size of the kitchen and servery. The upside is that despite my misgivings I suggest we are lucky to have it at all.”

  “Really fresh sandwiches and chips with a lovely coffee. Cake was also delicious and home made there. Will definitely go again. Couldnt find a menu anywhere online so added it in my photos...”
